The film was released in Japan in 1978, but at that time it was cut by about 30 minutes without Friedkin's permission and was edited very differently in the so-called "abridged version. The first TV broadcast of the film in 1980 was also a shortened version, and the dubbed version was made for the shortened version. The dubbed version of the TV broadcast version in this product contains only the parts that match the original full-length version. (Since the editing of the short version and the complete original version are very different, and some scenes exist only in the short version and the complete original version, the dubbed audio is less than that of the original product. Please note that this does not mean that the entire film can be viewed in dubbed form. Please be aware that the dubbed audio and video may not be as good as the original version. When Japanese dubbed audio is included, the parts without sound source will be the original sound source + subtitle superimpose.
