Description

[Machine Translation] [Children of the Corn" takes place in Gatlin, a small rural town in Nebraska. A corn god suddenly descends upon a young boy, and he becomes a guru. He leads a cult of children who slaughter the adults of the town and preach that "God stood before me in a halo of light. A young doctor and his lover wander into Gatlin, where nothing but children and corn remain. Isaac, a child guru in a black suit with a kid's haircut, has become a horror icon that is unforgettable and very popular in the United States. In "The Terminator" ('84), the fresh Linda Hamilton, just before her big break, is crucified in a cornfield. After the spectacular incident in Gatlin, the surviving children had started new lives as adopted children in the neighboring town of Hemingford. Gatlin's child guru Isaac is dead, and the curse of the cornfield is thought to be over, until John Garrett, a tabloid reporter from New York, and his son Danny arrive to cover the case. They both sense a suspicious shadow over the remaining children and realize that there is a mystery about the cornfield. And Micah, a boy they met at Gatlin's, rises to become a new children's guru.
