Description

[Machine Translation] Michio Koshikawa has been called a solitary poet of images for his high literary quality and unique approach to depicting the lives and sexuality of people living in the city in such works as "Hand in Hand, Two on the Run," "Life and Death by the Sea," "Anore," "A Small History of Love," "Azami-san no Koto," "Ararat" and "Back," as well as for his unique perspective on the lives and sexuality of people living in the city. His latest work, "Saigatte" (The End of the West), is a film that captures the life and sexuality of people living in the city. With Koshikawa's warm gaze that has captured the lives and sexuality of people living in the city, a new masterpiece was born, showing the journey of two men and a woman, each with their own sense of loss and emptiness, from the city to the forest, and eventually to the sea, and their dazzling love story. His melancholy performance of a man in despair over his life is captivating. --The film depicts the fantastic and nostalgic escapades of an empty-headed woman and a cram school teacher with a secret who meet in the city at night. One day, a young woman, Momo, and a 40-year-old man, Todo, meet at a tavern. Walking hand in hand through the night streets, singing "Shoes Clacking," the two eventually find themselves in love, and they have a physical encounter. The next morning, Toudou recalls the memory of last night and says, "It's like a road trip. Momo understands the meaning of his words and silently cries to him. The two, who each have their own painful pasts, decide to escape from this world by heading for the sea.

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
