The third and final installment of the BBR series is a mystery featuring the re-teaming of BB and Michel Poireon, a maritime adventure film that was described as "the birth of Brigitte Bardot" by the New York Times, and the three best films by master filmmaker Louis Malle based on BB's own life story! Boulevard of Rum": BB, the French version of Marilyn Monroe, and Lino Ventura, the French version of John Wayne. BB gives a lively performance as the whimsical and charming Linda, a popular actress, in a fresh silent film performance. The role is inspired by the actress Clara Bow. She was active in Hollywood during the transition to talkies and gave birth to the term "it girl," a representative "sex symbol" of the 1920s. The final song, "The Joy of Love," a famous Elvis Presley cover, sung by BB, is also unforgettable. BB called the film "one of the success stories of my life," and the New York Times called it "the birth of Brigitte Bardot," but just two years after its release, BB retired from show business. One day, however, he enters a movie theater to avoid the rain and falls in love with Linda Lariou (Brigitte Bardot), the lead actress in the silent film "The Leopard in Love". He became such a big fan of the actress that he saw her films at every port, and even put up newspaper and magazine clippings in his cabin. Eventually, before a big job, he runs into Linda herself on a beach in Cuba. She, too, is smitten with Colney's passion, and the two soon fall in love. Linda quits the movie business once and for all and goes to sea with her beloved captain... The film will include the Brigitte Bardot Retrospective BB 90th Anniversary Theatrical Trailer (tentative).
