The film is an innovative, experimental thriller with a strong artistic touch, and has yet to depict splattering of human flesh. Willard Haig and Gloria Katz, the husband and wife team who directed and wrote the screenplay for this film, were recognized by George Lucas, and after writing the screenplay for "Indiana Jones: Legend of the Palace" ('84), were chosen to direct and write "Howard the Duck" ('86), which failed at the box office, and they never directed another film after that. However, due to its failure at the box office, he never directed another film. --Arletti's father was a painter in a small town by the sea called Point Dume. He regularly sent letters to his daughter, but the contents gradually became strange and eventually stopped coming. Worried, she goes looking for her father, but something is wrong in the town. There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
