The story unfolds on a mysterious island that does not appear on any map. Drawn by rumors of hidden treasure, Lupin and his crew venture ashore, only to confront an unknown existence known as the "Immortal Bloodline." Told on an unprecedented scale with intense drama, this ultimate story stands as the origin point that connects to every era of "Lupin the Third." Based on the original work by Monkey Punch, the film is directed by Takeshi Koike, whose stylish and bold visual direction has earned high acclaim both in Japan and overseas. Koike has helmed all entries in the "LUPIN THE IIIRD" series. The series iconic regular cast reunites, including Kanichi Kurita, Akio Otsuka, Daisuke Namikawa, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Koichi Yamadera. Guest voice actors include Ainosuke Kataoka, Aoi Morikawa, and the comedy duo Kukidan. The theme song is a brand new track written exclusively for the film by B'z, titled "The IIIRD Eye." Setting their course for a "mysterious island" that does not exist on any world map, Lupin the Third and his companions head into the Bermuda waters. Their objective is to uncover the identity of the shadowy mastermind who has repeatedly sent assassins after them, and to seize an enormous hidden fortune. However, the moment they approach the island, their aircraft is shot down by a sniper, forcing an emergency landing on a deadly island. What awaits them is a scene resembling the end of the world. Decaying weapons and nuclear missiles lie piled in vast heaps, while so called "discarded humans," once exploited as weapons and then cast aside, wander the ruins. The island is shrouded in mist and saturated with a deadly poison that brings death within 24 hours, leaving no means of escape. The island ruler Muom preaches eternal youth and immortality, seeking to rule the world through ruthless selection and eradication. Facing an enemy that cannot die, against whom neither guns nor blades are effective, Lupin engages in a battle of wits, staking his past, his pride, and his code as a thief. Will Lupin manage to steal everything and escape the island alive within 24 hours?
