Description

[Machine Translation] Flaming bugs that tear and wriggle through the earth, leading the world to destruction! A demonic army of insects set fire to humans, animals, buildings, machines, and everything else, and devour the burning debris. Based on the novel by Thomas Page, this horror-panic film was produced by William Castle, who has made a name for himself in the film industry with his eccentric advertising strategies. New master version restored in 4K from the original negative. The director is Janot Schwartz, who became famous for "Jaws 2," and the special photography of the insects was done by Ken Castle of "Phase IV: The Fearful Insect Panic. The dubbed voice of the TV version (from Nippon Television's "Wednesday Road Show") is included for the first time *Not included on DVD. The dubbed voice is the original voice and Japanese subtitles for the parts that have no sound source. Includes a playback function for the complete Japanese dubbed version. You can skip the parts without dubbed voices and watch it with the same editing as the TV broadcast version. --A large earthquake strikes a town in the desert, causing cracks in the ground and strange insects reminiscent of giant cockroaches to crawl out of the ground. Then mysterious ignition phenomena occur frequently, and one by one, the victims start dying. Dr. Parmeeter sets out to investigate, and discovers that the grotesque insects feed on carbon, and that they have a habit of burning their prey by emitting fire from an ignition source on their bodies. If nothing is done, the entire United States, and eventually the world, will be destroyed, let alone the town. His wife has been killed, and the obsessive-compulsive doctor desperately searches for a way to exterminate the insects.... Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
