Description

The film received overwhelming sympathy from all generations. --In 2005, in Hong Kong, Christy is about to turn 30 years old. She has been promoted for her hard work at the cosmetics company where she works, has a long-time boyfriend, and is leading a fulfilling life that is the envy of everyone around her, both publicly and privately. However, the pressure of her job is hard on her, she and her boyfriend tend to drift apart, and she is concerned that her father is beginning to show symptoms of dementia. One day, the landlord sells the apartment she has been living in, and she is asked to move out. The room she finds is a temporary residence for the duration of the owner's trip to Paris. In the room, filled with Polaroid pictures of the Eiffel Tower and other girlish knick-knacks, Christy finds the diary of a woman named Tinro, who lives there. She becomes suddenly interested in the owner of the room, who happens to share the same birthday, and is unwittingly drawn to Tinro's small daily life as described in the diary.
