Description

[Machine Translation] Deadly headlights that make ruthless faces laugh! Lawless silenced pistols that spit fire! This is an intense gangster film directed by Komori Hakaru, who had hit films "Massacre" and "Pacific War: The Mysterious Battleship Mutsu" with Amachi. Shigeru Amachi plays the villainous protagonist, whose charm grows as he is hunted down. Funabashi and Numata are cast as the police inspector and reporter who pursue the hero, and Wada and Utako Mitsuya as a young man and his sister who cooperate in the investigation. --In the middle of the night in Tokyo, a maniacal bank gang is running rampant. Despite frantic investigations, the Special Investigation Unit led by Inspector Haraguchi is unable to find even a lead. At the Cabaret Monaco, Majima, a member of the Kanto Minowa family, ridicules the police. It was all his doing. Unaware of this, Murakawa, the boss of the Minowa family, tries to have Mashima take over for his son Kenichi, who ran away from home because he does not want to be the heir to the family. This also meant the marriage of Majima and his eldest daughter, Yukie, but Yukie had a lover, Kimura, a reporter. In order not to let this opportunity pass him by, Majima buries anyone who stands in his way, friend or foe alike, without mercy. He continues his daring, no-holds-barred misdeeds, but his actions gradually begin to show signs of wear and tear. And Kimura, Haraguchi, and the others did not miss it.

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

There are a few DVD titles that are playable in all regions. Such titles are indicated as "Region Code: ALL" under "Edition Details" in item pages. If the indication is missing, then it must be assumed that the title is encoded for Region 2. *Please note that opened items are not eligible for returns, unless there is a manufacturer defect. So please make sure that your DVD player can play region 2 DVDs before completing your order (see Returns Policy).

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
