[Machine Translation] His smile weaves hope. Seizaemon is approached by a family with complicated and dark thoughts. In this seventh work in the series, Seizaemon reexamines what he should believe in amidst the intersection of his own feelings. --One day in early autumn, Seizaemon (Kitaoji Kinya) intervenes in a fight between boys at the dojo and becomes concerned about the boy who started it all, Shungo (Ichinose Arashi). The boy's father, Magoshiro Tsuge (Masahiro Komoto), was hired eight years ago as a bodyguard for an important person because of his swordsmanship, but was attacked by assassins and failed in his mission. He was also deeply traumatized when his wife, Mizue (Misuna Shimizu), divorced him on suspicion of infidelity. Seizaemon tells Magoshiro about his son's wife Satoe ( Yuka ) and what he saw and heard about Shungo and Mizue, and tells Magoshiro to take their feelings into consideration. He also asks Magoshiro about the incident that took place eight years ago, and Magoshiro suspects that "another death" may have been involved that affected the factional conflict. With the help of his ally Kumata Saeki (Shiro Ito), Seizaemon begins to investigate to uncover the truth, but just then a new incident occurs... Seizaemon, feeling the shadow of Asada Yumnosuke ( Kaneda Akio ), the top retainer who has become a powerful man, begins to unravel the mystery of the complicated case. Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
