Starring Rokka Ihara, a hot actress! --Sakura Uchida (Rokka Ihara), a university student, is a shy girl who has a hard time blending in with her surroundings. Her childhood friend Satoshi Manaka ( Daisuke Fujiwara ), who also attends the same university, invites Sakura and her childhood friend Kimi Hanamura ( Shiori Akita ) to a part-time job at a resort inn on an island for a change of pace. The inn is run by a couple and a freelancer, Iwasaki, but the owner, Kensuke (Mamoru Tsubouchi), has injured his leg and hires Sakura and the others as part-timers on short notice. The Sakura family was able to enjoy the resort and smile naturally as they had enough time to rest before the full-fledged season. One day, Sakura sees the proprietress, Makiko ( Hinako Saeki ), walking quietly down the hallway every night late at night, bringing in the meals, and she feels an inexpressible uneasiness...

何かがおかしい・・・リゾートの楽しさは恐怖に塗りつぶされてゆく― 全ての都市伝説の恐怖の集大成! ネット怪談最終章! 多くの人々にネット都市伝説の集大成として語り継がれている『リゾートバイト』を、長年謎とされてきた投稿者の「日向麦」の協力を得て、スマッシュヒットした映画『きさらぎ駅』のスタッフが再結集し、恐怖と驚きの仕掛け満載で映画化! 監督は、『きさらぎ駅』で一気に話題となった永江二朗。主演は、注目の女優・伊原六花! ――大学に通う内田桜 (伊原六花) は引っ込み思案の性格でなかなか周りに溶けこめない生活を送っていた。幼馴染で同じ大学に通う真中聡 (藤原大祐) は、そんな桜を気分転換のために同じく幼馴染の華村希美 (秋田汐梨) と共に、旅行を兼ねてとある島にある旅館のリゾートバイトに誘う。桜たちが働くことになった旅館は夫婦とフリーターの岩崎で営んでいたが、旅館の主人・健介 (坪内守) が足を怪我したことで急遽桜たちをバイトとして雇ったのだった。本格的なシーズン前でもあり、十分な休憩時間があった桜たちはリゾート地を楽しむことができ、その中で桜も自然と笑顔を取り戻してゆく。そんなある日、桜は女将の真樹子 (佐伯日菜子) が毎晩、深夜にひっそりと廊下を歩き、食事を運んでいる姿を目撃し、言い知れぬ不安を抱く・・・。

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

There are a few DVD titles that are playable in all regions. Such titles are indicated as "Region Code: ALL" under "Edition Details" in item pages. If the indication is missing, then it must be assumed that the title is encoded for Region 2. *Please note that opened items are not eligible for returns, unless there is a manufacturer defect. So please make sure that your DVD player can play region 2 DVDs before completing your order (see Returns Policy).

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
