Description

[Machine Translation] White Poison of Terror! The mysterious woman who disappeared in the darkness! A fearless face smiling in the shadows of a serial murder case! --A drug lord, Kanzaki, has been murdered. Just after he was released due to lack of evidence, his defense attorney, Jiro Nango, receives a phone call from Fumie, Kanzaki's mistress, asking for his help. However, when Nango rushes to the hotel, he finds Fumie's body. Nango finds a mysterious black bag and a train ticket among her belongings, and heads for Hakone-Yumoto. A madam-like woman appears in front of him and tells him to go to Lake Ashinoko. A motorboat attacks Nango, who is waiting for something on the lake, shrouded in mystery. He is saved from drowning by a beautiful woman, but she leaves without giving her name. The next day, a man with a black bag is found dead, and it turns out that he was Fumie's brother. Nango investigates the bar where Fumie worked. He finds the madam, but someone attacks her, and when he regains consciousness, he finds the bodies of the madam and a thug lying on the floor. The office is also attacked, but fortunately his secretary, Kyoko, is unharmed. Nango suspects the "Houjoji Shoukai," a moneylender specializing in women, which he found in the madam's notebook, and has Kyoko pose as a customer to get in touch with her. Nango follows Kyoko to the secret club, where he is reunited with the mysterious beauty who saved him at Lake Ashi.

恐怖の白い毒! 闇に消えた謎の女! 連続殺人事件の陰に笑う不敵な顔! ――麻薬王・神崎が殺害された。証拠不十分で釈放された直後の出来事で、彼の弁護人・南郷次郎の元には、助けを求める神崎の情婦・文江から電話が入る。しかし、ホテルへ急いだ南郷が目にしたのは文江の遺体だった。遺品から謎の黒鞄と列車の乗車券を見つけた南郷は箱根湯本へ向かう。黒鞄の交換に現れた男を追う南郷の前にマダム風の女が現れ、芦ノ湖に行くように告げる。謎に包まれたまま湖上で何かを待つ南郷をモーターボートが襲う。溺れるところを美しい女性に救われるが、彼女は名もつげずに去っていった。翌日、黒鞄の男が死体で発見され、文江の弟だったことも判明する。文江が勤めていたバーを探る南郷。例のマダムを見つけるが何者かに襲われ、意識が戻るとマダムとチンピラの死体が転がっていた。事務所も襲われたが、幸いにも秘書の京子は無事だった。マダムの手帳にあった女性専門の金貸「宝城寺商会」が怪しいと睨んだ南郷は、京子に客を装わせて接触させる。京子を追って秘密クラブに乗り込んだ南郷は、芦ノ湖で救ってくれた謎の美女と再会する。

If the indication is missing, then it must be assumed that the title is encoded for Region 2. *Please note that opened items are not eligible for returns, unless there is a manufacturer defect. HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
