Description

[Machine Translation] Set in a hot spring resort town, Yoko Mihara plays an active role in solving a conspiracy and war over the interests of a hot spring spa. Tamami, a female boss of the Kanto Sakura clan, is visiting Kinugawa Onsen to mourn Kinryu, the Otaki clan boss who committed suicide and was the younger brother of the previous boss. Kinryu's son, Shinsuke, who had dissolved the clan and was running an inn, confides in Tamami that he was being harassed by the Kurobe clan. Before his death, Kinryu had been demanded by the Kurobe clan to transfer the rights to Motoyu, which he had turned down. Tamami, who had been suspicious of Kinryu's suicide, becomes increasingly suspicious. The hot spring resort is in the middle of a festival. Tamami shows up at the Kurobe clan's gambling den and is surrounded by Kurobe's dry minions after exposing a cheat. Then, a rough-looking man who calls himself "Mu-Robo no Masa" intervenes and kicks them out. Junkichi, a nut from Hanashima Ranch who has fallen in love with a cabaret madam in Kurobe and fallen for a bogus gambling game that has put him into massive debt, hands over the rights to the former bathhouse to Kurobe without consulting Shinsuke, the co-owner. Kurobe locks up Shinsuke, who shows up to negotiate the return of the rights, and hands a gun to Masa, who shows up looking for a job, and tells him he will hire him if he makes Shinsuke disappear. Masa then becomes Kurobe's bodyguard. When Tamami asks him for the truth, he just laughs and smokes her out. Gradually, the town is becoming more and more like Kurobe wants it to be. However, Sabu, an assassin who was never supposed to return, comes back to the town. Kurobe orders Masa to kill Sabu, but...

温泉街を舞台に湯元の利権を巡る陰謀と抗争を三原葉子の活躍で解決していく。 関東桜組の女親分・珠美は、先代組長の弟分で自殺した大滝組親分・金竜の弔いに鬼怒川温泉を訪れていた。金竜の息子・慎介は、組を解散して旅館の経営をしていたが、黒部組からいやがらせを受けていることを珠美に打ち明ける。生前に金竜は黒部組から元湯の権利譲渡を要求されていて、それを断った経緯があった。金竜の自殺に不審を感じていた珠美は疑念を深めていく。温泉街は祭りの最中。黒部組の賭場に現われた珠美はイカサマを暴き黒部の乾分に囲まれる。そこへ無鉄砲の政と名乗るキザな男が割って入り、乾分たちを蹴散らす。黒部のキャバレーのマダムに入れ込み、インチキ賭博に引っかかって多額の借金を作ってしまった花島牧場の伜・順吉は、共同所有者である慎介に相談もなく元湯の権利を黒部に渡してしまう。権利書の返還交渉に現われた慎介を監禁した黒部は、職を求めて現れた政に拳銃を手渡し慎介を消せば雇うと告げる。そして政は黒部の用心棒になるのだった。真相を聞き出そうと問い詰める珠美に、政は笑って煙に巻くばかりだった。街は徐々に黒部の思い通りになって行く。しかしその街に、二度と帰らぬはずの殺し屋サブが帰ってくる。黒部は政にサブを殺せと命じるが・・・。

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
