Description

[Machine Translation] In a bright village, in a green valley, a simple emotion reverberates! A duet song by Sayuri Yoshinaga and Akira Mita, the prince of the singing world, was made into a movie. This is a youthful sensation presented by Sayuri Yoshinaga and Akira Mita, the prince of the singing world. The story is about Hiroko Kohiyama (Sayuri Yoshinaga), whose boyfriend is a reporter for a weekly magazine, who is assigned as a public health nurse in the remote village of Himehora. The poverty and ignorance of the residents in Himehitora Village are unimaginable. Hiroko tries to change the unsanitary living conditions in the village, which has no running water, but the village is ruled by the head of a new cult-like religion called Sonodo Kyokai and the village chief, and even the doctors who have a heart cannot resist the trend. 明るい村に 緑の谷間に 素朴な感動がこだまする! 吉永小百合×歌謡界のプリンス・三田明のデュエット曲を映画化。吉永小百合と歌謡界のプリンス三田明の顔合せで贈る青春感動作。ユーモアとペーソスのなかにもヒューマニズムを盛込んだストーリーで、緑の山間に響く2人のデュエット「明日は咲こう花咲こう」は、忘れられない1曲となるだろう。──週刊誌の記者を恋人にもつ小日山ひろ子 (吉永小百合)は、僻地・姫虎村に保健婦として赴任した。姫虎村には想像を超える貧困と住民の無知が蔓延していた。ひろ子は上水道も引かれていない農村の不衛生な生活ぶりを改めようとするが、村は尊道教というカルトまがいの新興宗教教祖と村長に支配されていてままならず、心ある医師らもその風潮に逆らえない。そんな中、子供たちに赤痢が発生するが、教祖と村長は大腸カタルだと決めつける。村民のパニックを避けるために、ひろ子は画策するのだが・・・。特典映像にオリジナル劇場予告篇 (※予定)、フォトギャラリー収録。ピクチャーディスク仕様。吉永小百合 日活デビュー65周年記念。

HD DVD

HD DVDs titles are playable only on HD DVD players. They are not playalbe on conventional DVD players or Blu-ray players. On the other hand, Twin Format disc has a layer that is playable also on conventional DVD players. Such titles are indicated as "Format: HD DVD Twin Format" in item details page. *We'll add accurate information on regional encoding as they become available, but for the time-being, please assume that HD DVD titles available at CDJapan are encoded for Region-2.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
