The authentic modern yakuza, Asahi, uses a lot of dynamite, pistols, and doss in this serious and entertaining action film set in the Hokuriku region! --Zenkichi Kito comes to Komatsu City in Ishikawa Prefecture, relying on his younger brother Taro. After playing with Mariko, a geisha, at Awazu Hot Springs, Kito discovers that Mariko is the daughter of Zhang Moto of the Sumire-kai, a Kansai yakuza gang that has been gaining power in the Komatsu area, so he connects with Zhang Moto and joins the Sumire-kai. The Sumire-kai, in an effort to take over the quarry, took on the owner Nishio's debt of 5 million yen. However, the local Shoda clan was also in Nishio's business. Tetsugoro, a skilled loan shark in the Shoda clan, was an obstacle to the Sumire-kai. At the request of Zhangmoto, Kito tried to drive out Tetsugoro by force of arms, but was unable to do so. On the other hand, Shoda found the source of the loan to Nishio, but the Sumire-kai tried to make Kito take the money away from him. Tired of Sumire-kai's tactics, Kito devises a plan to rob Taro and the money... First DVD release (HD remastering), picture disc format (planned).

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
