Ken Takakura and Yoshiko Nakano became popular actors in China as well. --One day, Tokyo District Public Prosecutor Fuyuto Duqiu (Ken Takakura) is suddenly accused of a crime he does not remember and arrested in the crowded streets of Shinjuku. Duoka escapes during a raid and heads for his hometown of Noto, where he discovers that the woman who accused him, Keiko Mizusawa (Hiroko Isayama), is actually Kayo Yokomichi, the real name of the accused. However, Kayo had already been killed. Duoka goes to Hokkaido in pursuit of Kayo's husband, Keiji (Kunie Tanaka), but when he escapes into the forest after a relentless police search, he saves Mayumi Tohba (Yoshiko Nakano) from being attacked by a bear and falls in love with her. With the help of her father, Yoshinori ( Shuji Otaki ), he returns to Tokyo in a Cessna to escape the pursuit of Inspector Yamura ( Yoshio Harada ) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, and to uncover the plot that has brought him down. 4K digitally restored Ultra HD Blu-ray (HDR version) & 4K digitally restored Blu-ray 2-disc set. The Blu-ray is recorded in HD resolution using the SDR master. Both the SDR and HDR versions (included in the Ultra HD-Blu-ray) use the latest grading and new master supervised by Director of Photography Masahiro Miyajima, a former Daiei director who has worked on numerous 4K grading projects.
