Description

[Machine Translation] You can die anytime you want, so why not stay alive? --About 800 years ago, the Heike clan was destroyed in Shimonoseki, a place on the western edge of Honshu. The story of the ghost story "Hoichi the Earless" is revived as a radio drama in present-day Shimonoseki. What is the grudge that a 30-year-old woman with broken dreams saw? Director Gu Su-yeon, who has produced numerous shocking works such as "The Worst Boy by Chance," "The Hard Romanticist," and "Miko Chakken," depicts his love for his hometown, Shimonoseki, and his "terrible grudge" with the story of the ghost story "Hoichi the Hearing-less. This project was realized when actor Masaya Kato asked Shimonoseki-born director Gu Su-yeon and actress Yurie Fukamachi, also from Shimonoseki, to make an original movie from Shimonoseki. --Yuri Tomizawa (Yurie Fukamachi) came to Tokyo with dreams of becoming an actress, but her dreams were dashed and she returned to her hometown, Shimonoseki. She has no friends, no job, and no choice but to help her father, Shoji Tomizawa, run a radio station. However, the radio station "Kamon FM" is on the verge of bankruptcy, and its scary sponsor (Shizuyo Yamazaki) is forcing it to close. Yuri is also followed around by a mysterious, eerie young man ( Seigen Nishio ) and the ever-present Okiku ( Suzuka Ohgo )... Then, a scary sponsor orders Yuri to do a "radio drama" as her last chance. Failure is not an option. Through a local audition, a number of actors with strong personalities, young and old, male and female, gather together, but...

死ぬんはいつでもできるけぇ、生きちょってもええよね。――およそ800年前、平家が滅亡した本州西端の地、下関。怪談「耳なし芳一」の物語が、現代の下関でラジオドラマとして復活。夢破れた三十路女が見た怨念とは? 『偶然にも最悪な少年』『ハードロマンチッカー』『巫女っちゃけん』数々の衝撃作を世に送り出してきたグスーヨン監督が怪談『耳なし芳一』の調べにのせて描き出す、故郷・下関への愛情と『恐ろしいほどの"怨念"』。本企画は、俳優・加藤雅也氏が下関出身のグスーヨン監督、同じく下関出身の女優・深町友里恵に「下関発のオリジナルムービーを撮ろう」と声掛けした事がきっかけで実現した、グスーヨン、具光然による兄弟共同のオリジナル脚本作品。――富澤ユリ (深町友里恵)は、女優を夢見て上京するが夢破れ故郷・下関に戻って来た。友達もなく・・・仕事もなく・・・やむなく父・富澤昌治が経営するラジオ局を手伝う事になる。ところがラジオ局「カモンFM」は倒産寸前で、怖〜いスポンサー (山崎静代)が閉鎖を迫っていた。さらに、ユリには謎の不気味な青年 (西尾聖玄)と存在感の薄いお菊 (大後寿々花)がつきまとい・・・。そんな折り、怖〜いスポンサーからラストチャンスとして「ラジオドラマ」をやるよう命令が下る。失敗は許されない。地元オーディションにより、老若男女、多数の個性が強い出演者が集まりはするが・・・
