[Machine Translation] Kazutoshi Sakurai has written a song for the Hibiya Music Festival and is releasing it as a single! Hibiya Music Festival is a music festival that aims to create a place where people can enjoy various musical experiences that transcend generations and genres free of charge, based on Seiji Kameda's desire to "provide everyone with the opportunity to listen to great music performed live". The single release "When the Rain Stops" was performed for the first time by the members of "Hibiya Broadway," a unit formed by Sakurai and Yoshio Inoue as part of the Hibiya Music Festival project, during the "Hibiya Music Festival 2023, celebrating Hibiya Nohe's 100th anniversary" held on June 3 (Sat) - 4 (Sun), 2023. For the single release, the song was produced by Seiji Kameda and chorus arranged by Yuichiro Onuki. Vocalists include Yoshio Inoue and other leading actors from the Japanese musical world who have appeared on "Hibiya Broadway" in the past. The DVD includes a music video edited in the style of a documentary, featuring rare recording scenes. The DVD will be released with the hope that the song, which was born out of the Hibiya Music Festival, will "transcend musical genres and reach as many people as possible" as Inoue and Hibiya Broadway wish. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Hibiya Music Festival for the purpose of "sustaining a free music festival that everyone can enjoy.
