Description

[Machine Translation] It is the power of people that changes the world. A historical battle on the eve of the Warring States period, born from a single line of historical fact. The film is an entertaining action epic that takes viewers through the dark ages of the Middle Ages, a time of realistic wind, fire, and dust! The main character, Hyoue, is played by the now nationally known star, Yo Oizumi. The film co-stars Kento Nagao, Wakana Matsumoto, Akira Emoto, Kazuki Kitamura, and Shinichi Tsutsumi. Based on the novel "Muromachi Muyori" by Ryosuke Kakine, who won the Naoki Prize last year for "Gokuraku Seiyo Daishogun" ("Muromachi Muyori") published by Shincho Bunko. The film is directed by Yu Irie, who has sublimated dense human drama into entertainment with such works as "22nd Confession: I Am a Murderer" and "An no Koto. --The story takes place in Muromachi, Kyoto on the eve of the Onin War. A famine and a chain of epidemics, countless corpses piled up on the streets. In such a chaotic world, there were those who appeared like the wind and challenged the great powers to a battle.... Hasuda Hyoue -- the first man in Japanese history to lead a revolt as a member of the warrior class, and the only one whose name has been recorded in history books. This film dramatically depicts the unknown battles of the "outlaws" who gathered under him. The last of the nine outlaws, who had stirred up an unprecedented revolt, challenge the Shogunate's army with only nine men. What are their chances and aims in this reckless battle with zero chance of victory? Includes special video features. Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
