Description

[Machine Translation] The speed is 91 kilometers per hour! The classic TV animation "Perman" (broadcast from 1967 to 1968), which enjoyed the highest viewer rating of 35.6%, is now available on Blu-ray to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Fujiko F. Fujio, the author of the original work! --Mitsuo Suwa, a dull elementary school student, is given a mask, cape, and badge by an alien he meets in a vacant lot one day, and is appointed as the superhero Perman No. 1, who protects the peace of the earth. Mitsuo and his friends, including the chimpanzee No. 2, become heroes of justice, using their superhuman strength to exterminate bad guys and save lives! Of the 108 episodes of the black-and-white version of "Perman" broadcast from 1967 to 1968, 106 episodes (excluding episodes 31 and 93) are included! Based on the episodes that appeared in Weekly Shonen Sunday and other magazines, the anime version includes original episodes and the final two episodes, "A Girl Named Pako" and "Paman Yotsumade no Maki", which are considered by fans to be "the most famous episode in Fujiko's anime history". A commentary containing valuable character settings and promotional materials from the broadcast era (including the latest special interview with director Shinichi Suzuki, a close friend of the original creator from his time at Tokiwa-so and the first president of Studio Zero) is also enclosed! Episode 90 includes newly discovered audio! First broadcast: April 2, 1967 (Showa 42) - April 14, 1968 (Showa 43) on TBS *Please note that the format may differ from the original broadcast.
