Reitaro Matsunaga (Kazuyuki Furuya), a former detective of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, was shot by a suspect in a certain case. He was severely injured when he fell off a cliff and lost his eyesight, which caused him to resign from the police force and divorce his wife. He resigned from his job as a detective and divorced his wife. While working as a mind counselor, he and his guide dog, Melia, rely on their own hearing to solve difficult cases in cooperation with his best friend, Yabe, the Chief of the Investigation Section. A commentary is enclosed. Reversal of Resentment" (first broadcast: September 19, 1995 on NTV): Reitaro Matsunaga (Kazuyuki Furuya), a blind mind consultant, encounters an explosion at a radio station. The explosive device was planted in a package, and it was unclear who the culprit had targeted inside the station. While the station was interviewing the people involved, Matsunaga received a threatening phone call. He searches for the whereabouts of the culprit, relying on the sounds he hears behind the phone.... Reitaro Matsunaga's best friend, Inspector Yabe (Casey Takamine), was shot by someone and is unconscious. The investigators catch a man from a phone call to Matsunaga, but he has nothing to do with the case. When Matsunaga learns that Yoshiko ( Midori Hagio ), Yabe's wife who used to work as a newspaper reporter, has a history of divorce and has a son, he suspects that there may be a connection to the case.
