[Machine Translation] The popular drama series in which Otojiro Otogawa ( Makoto Fujita ), a humanistic detective of the Kyoto Prefectural Police, solves a difficult case in Kyoto with his persistent investigation, has finally been made into a long-awaited first soft version more than 40 years after the first episode was broadcast! Volume 1. The suspense series is about solving a difficult murder case at a famous place in Kyoto, but since Otogawa travels all over Japan to investigate suspects and cases, one of the highlights of the series is that various locations appear in the series. Includes the first seven films (*The second film is not included because the original version is unknown). Commentary enclosed. The first film "Flower Coffin" -- Catherine (Shelley), a daughter who came to Japan with the vice president, stays behind to learn flower arrangement after the vice president's return. Catherine is on her way to Kyoto to visit her long-time friend Maiko Ogawa ( Sayoko Ninomiya ), a master of the Azuma school of ikebana, when Kyoto police detective Kariya ( Makoto Fujita ) comes to escort her. However, Maiko does not show up for the reception at the hotel, much to Katherine's disappointment. At that time, Kariya receives a call that Maiko was found poisoned to death...
