Description

A story of resistance that continues from 2205. A new voyage of Yamato that transcends time and space now begins. Adding new interpretations to the 1980 works "Be Forever Yamato" and "Space Battleship Yamato III", the story is reconstructed as a 26 episode series, the latest title in the national science fiction anime series "Space Battleship Yamato". This is DVD volume 5. The time to confront the Witch of Uralia, the force that freezes the universe, is approaching. The true identity of the Witch is the intermediate supply base Digabras, which lurks in the dark depths of space. The connection between Dezarium and the Witch of Uralia comes into question. In the absolute disadvantage of the cold universe, Yamato and the combined fleet of Yamato and Garmillas struggle against a gigantic fortress that even neutralizes the Wave Motion Gun. In the midst of this, Alfon appears once more before Kodai. Guided by their bond through Yuki yet believing in different futures, the two incompatible people witness the truth of Digabras. Meanwhile, on Earth, which has fallen into the trap of Mother Dezarium, people are beginning to accept Dezariumization by their own will. There is not a moment to lose. As Yamato plunges into unknown space in search of the answers to all mysteries, a shocking conclusion awaits. Episodes 15 to 18 are included. Blu-ray
