Description

[Machine Translation] Fumiaki Miura is one of the best young Japanese violinists both in name and reality. This is Miura's second concerto album, recorded in Moscow with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra (formerly the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra), a prestigious orchestra that has maintained its reputation since the Soviet era. The first recording of Shostakovich's Violin Concerto No. 1, which requires extreme skill and musicality, was recorded for the first time with Denis Lotoyev, Russia's most gifted conductor, and the result is a performance of sheer intensity. The filler pieces are four frequently performed pieces from Khachaturian's ballet "Gaine," which is one of the orchestra's "18th favorites" and features the virtuosity of the orchestra's virtuoso players.
