This is a new version of "Tears Falling on Starry Land," which was originally performed in 2009 as the 10th production of Chikyuu Gorgeous as a commemorative festival performance of Chikyuu Gorgeous, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. Kishitani himself has rewritten the script of this work, which is one of the most popular among the 15 productions of Chikyu Gorgeous, to add more musical elements than in the first performance. The new production also features the lead role of Kensuke Nitta, further enhancing the entertainment value of the show. --The story is set in a time when the land was drenched with blood and tears amidst the wars of a nation in pursuit of ideals. A young man, Shachi (Kensuke Nitta), who has lost his memory after being defeated in battle, meets Stella (Reina Sasamoto), a woman who is pregnant with a child of God, and the people of the small island of Tabara, where he has washed up. However, when his memory returns, tragedy awaits him... 2-disc set including full-length Blu-ray and special DVD. Booklet enclosed.

地球ゴージャス二十五周年祝祭公演・新田真剣佑主演『星の大地に降る涙 THE MUSICAL』地球ゴージャス初となるブルーレイ化! 本作は、今年結成25周年を迎えた地球ゴージャスが記念すべき祝祭公演として、2009年に地球ゴージャス10作目の公演として上演された「星の大地に降る涙」を、岸谷五朗・寺脇康文以外の全キャストを新たにし、新演出版で上演したもの。地球ゴージャス全15作品の中でも高い人気を誇る本作を、岸谷自ら脚本を書き直し、初演時よりミュージカル要素をアップさせた。また今回、新田真剣佑を主演に迎え、更にエンターテインメント性を追求した公演に仕上げた。――理想を求める国の戦の中で、たくさんの血と涙が大地を濡らした時代。戦いに敗れ記憶を無くした青年・シャチ (新田真剣佑) は、流れついた小さな島、タバラの島の民と神の子を宿した女性・ステラ (笹本玲奈) と出会う。しかし、彼の記憶が戻るとき、そこには悲劇が待っていた・・・。本編Blu-ray + 特典DVDの2枚組。ブックレット封入。

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.
