Description

Blu-ray release of a live-action film based on the bestselling novel "The Eternal Zero (Eien no Zero)." The film is directed by Takashi Yamazaki of "Always - Sunset on Third Street." Stars Junichi Okada. Also appears Haruma Miura and Mao Inoue. Plot: Kentaro Saeki, who flunked the bar exam and has no idea what to do from now, is told that he has an actual blood-related grandfather at his grandmother's funeral. The grandfather's name is Kyuzo Miyabe who died in a suicide mission during World War II. Kentaro starts searching information on the footsteps of his grandfather at the request from his sister, Keiko who is a freelance writer. Kentaro visits fellow soldiers of Kyuzo Miyabe, but his reputation is "The most cowardly Navy soldier" even he had genuine talent as a fighter pilot. Kyuzo Miyabe was strongly terrified of death and obsessed with survival. Then why did he join the special attack corps?
