Q. What are campaigns?

We will occasionally issue campaigns that improve the commission you receive on certain items (for example, "Orders placed for select items during the campaign period will earn you 3% more commission for the affiliate program"). If you'd like to be eligible for the special rate, you must first apply to participate in the campaign. We will inform you of campaigns through the affiliate program top page and via newsmail. You may view currently running campaigns and your campaign participation history in the "Campaign Participation / History" section of the "Affiliate Menu".

Q. How will the Affiliate Program Open Beta be different from the official release?

If all goes well, not much at all. All commissions, clicks, and orders will be processed through the beta period the same way they will after official release.

However, we've crafted a completely new system to support the Affiliate Program, and while we've taken great lengths to test the system for errors, we're using the open beta program to route out any bugs we might have missed during the testing process. While we don't anticipate many problems, we ask for your patience during the beta period in the event that an error causes unexpected outages to the system or delays in payment. Again, there may be delays in the event of an error, but all commissions made during the beta period are completely valid and will be paid on the scheduled date or as soon as possible afterward if an error occurs.
