I still remember the vinyl 12" I still got in my vinyl storage room. And I remember the first time I layed my eyes on this compilation. And frankly as a Hall & Oates fan I couldn't resist to buy this one... So I bought even the Volume 2 to complete my collection to get them all. I give it 4... because you have to own them both to have a 5 points. =)

To complete the set of their 12 inch mixes you better take the volume one also. Or you will miss out of some great mixes on the first 12 inch collection. I own them both and occasionally I listen to both of them in a row. Thanks to these two 12inch compilations I can relive the Hall & Oates 12" in crystal clear remastered sound. And it brings back memories.

I am happy to own this compilation. Lot of the tracks on this collection are rare and hard to find so getting this one is a timesaver and you get those rare 12 inch versions you cannot find anywhere else on CD. You get the 8 min Gloria Gaynor of "I will survive" & Princess "After The Love Has Gone" (another song is "Say I'm Your No:1" not on this compilation) The Stock, Aitken & Waterman produced track for Donna Summer "This Time I know its for real". Most of these tracks are exclusive on this CD and cannot be found elsewhere in their 12 inch verisons. The Commondores - "brick house" The Cool Notes - "Spend The night". I own one copy and I am happy =).
