2020 [Regular Edition] [Japan Bonus Tracks: "Luv Can," "Shine"]Bon JoviWorth buying! This was my second order from CD Japan and like the first, I am very impressed with CD Japan’s service. The order shipped quickly and once again great care was taken to ensure the CD was protected with plenty of bubble wrap and use of a strong, small shipping box. This Japanese release is nicely presented and includes two bonus tracks are pretty decent. Standout tracks are ‘Limitless’, ‘American Reckoning’ and ‘Beautiful Drug’. Richie’s voice is sorely missed here but it’s still a worthy release. Thanks CD Japan.

Forever [SHM-CD] [Regular Edition] [Japan Bonus Track]Bon JoviWorth buying! This was my second order from CD Japan and like the first, I am very impressed with CD Japan’s service. The order shipped quickly and once again great care was taken to ensure the CD was protected with plenty of bubble wrap and use of a strong, small shipping box. I choose to buy just the regular edition which still included the bonus tracks ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’ and ‘Legendary (Demo)’. Overall, I think this album still offers something for the long term BJ fan with tracks like ‘Legendary’, ‘Living Proof’ and even ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’. However, it feels like a bit more of the same repeated formula of late with a number of tracks sounding rather similar, whilst sharing an apparent need to get quickly to the chorus line. Still worth buying! Thanks CD Japan!

All Time Best 1984-2024 (Super Deluxe Edition) [3SHM-CD + Blu-ray] [Limited Edition]Bon JoviStunning new release! This was part of my first order from CD Japan. I can highly recommend CD Japan. Great care had been taken to ensure this Super Deluxe Edition was protected with plenty of bubble wrap and use of a strong, small shipping box. This Japanese original Super Deluxe Edition includes 50 tracks apparently selected by Japanese fans. Whilst there’s nothing new here on the three CD's, it is quite nice to have a wide variety of tracks covered here, all in one place. It has been put together beautifully and the Blu-ray is a nice, additional feature. Highly recommended for the avid BJ fan or even for someone just discovering their back catalogue covering 40 years! Thank you CD Japan!

Bon Jovi [Deluxe Edition] [SHM-CD] [Limited Edition] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Bon JoviLove the mini LP format! This was my first purchase from CD Japan and of the mini LP CD format. I can highly recommend CD Japan. To my surprise, the order shipped prior to the release date and arrived on my doorstep in Australia on the day of the official release! Great care had been taken to ensure the mini LP was protected with plenty of bubble wrap and use of a strong, small shipping box. I love the mini LP format. It’s something different and unique to Japan releases. The prints of the 7inch Japan vinyl singles covers are a nice touch however what interested me most with this release were the bonus tracks on the second CD. As a long time BJ fan, I’ve been collecting officially released B-Sides from albums and CD singles from all over the world for over 30 years. With this release, the only new B-Side not already released on CD was ‘Shot Through The Heart’ which was recorded live at the Gaumont Theatre Ipswich England in 1984 and broadcast in January 1985 on the BBC Friday Rockshow. It was released as a B-Side along with ‘Roulette’ from the same concert on the ‘In And Out Of Love’ 12" Vinyl VERX 19 UK release in 1985. However it’s the first time it’s been officially released on CD which is great. However, this still feels like a missed opportunity. Why couldn’t the entire setlist from the Super Rock '84 in Japan have been included or at least have included ‘She Don’t Know Me’ and ‘Get Ready’ from that festival instead of ‘Breakout’ and ‘Runaway’ which have both been released previously? Overall though, I think this is a great (albeit expensive!) collector’s item for the diehard Bon Jovi fan! Thank you CD Japan!

7800 FAHRENHEIT [Deluxe Edition] [SHM-CD] [Limited Edition] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Bon JoviLove the mini LP format! This was my first purchase from CD Japan and of the mini LP CD format. As a long time BJ fan, I’ve been collecting officially released B-Sides from albums and CD singles from all over the world for over 30 years. Disc 2 is filled up entirely with tracks recorded live in Japan at the Shibuya Public Hall Japan 28 August 1985. Most tracks have been available on a multitude of different releases over the years but it was still good to get ‘Roulette’, ‘Breakout’ and ‘Runaway’ officially released for the first time here. However, this still feels like a missed opportunity. Why couldn’t the entire setlist from this famous ‘Live in Japan 85’ concert have been included? It was disappointing not to see ‘She Don’t Know Me’ & ‘King Of The Mountain’ included which would have then completed the entire set list. Overall though, I think this is a great (albeit expensive!) collector’s item for the diehard Bon Jovi fan! Thank you CD Japan!

Slippery When Wet [Deluxe Edition] [SHM-CD] [Limited Edition] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Bon JoviLove the mini LP format! This was my first purchase from CD Japan and of the mini LP CD format. Great care had been taken to ensure the mini LP was protected with plenty of bubble wrap and use of a strong, small shipping box. I love the mini LP format. It’s something different and unique to Japan releases along with the Japan only ‘wet t-shirt’ banned album cover for this album. The prints of the 7inch Japan vinyl singles covers are a nice touch however what interested me most with this release were the bonus tracks on the second CD. As a long time BJ fan, I’ve been collecting officially released B-Sides from albums and CD singles from all over the world for over 30 years. With this release and to the best of my knowledge, the only new B-Sides not already released on CD were ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ and ‘Wanted Dead Or Alive’, both of which were recorded live in 1993 at the Milton Keynes National Bowl along with ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ recorded live at Cobo Arena Detroit USA 11 March 1987 and ‘Let It Rock’, recorded live at the Nassau Coliseum New York 9 August 1987. Whilst I would have liked to have had a few more previously unreleased B-Sides included. I think that overall, this is a great (albeit expensive!) collector’s item form Bon Jovi fans! Thank you CD Japan!
