Stunning Obi & Beautiful Commentary
The obi that comes along with this CD brings a new aesthetic to the album, thoroughly complimenting the color scheme of the album art. The commentary by Osamu Sawada was very beautifully said, I’m so happy that Sleep Token has finally made their impact on Japan. By the end of the album, you’ll be singing along to the instrumental bonus song, “Emergence”, which was the lead single to “Even In Arcadia”. With catchy hooks and a strong feeling of hope, the words to this song stick strongly, which gives you the freedom to sing it yourself at the end! And if you purchased the 7” single of “Emergence”, the B-side from the single will sound familiar! “Even In Arcadia (Piano Version)” is a reminder of said B-side on the 7”. Vessel’s piano skills shine throughout the Piano Version, quite reminiscent of the old “Piano Rituals” from the One EP, but with refreshing modern production
As we have had the album since May 9th, I can say that this is a 10/10 album, but with this release, it’s bumped up to a 12/10!
