The First SongsLaura NyroLaura Nyro's Stunning Debut AlbumLaura's Debut Album was recorded in 1966 and released on Verve Records in early 1967, Back then it was titled "More than A New Discovery". The Album contained some of Laura's best known work especially rare for a Debut Album. Stand out tracks are: Wedding Bell Blues, Stoney End, And When I Die and Goodbye Joe. The Sound Quality on this Version is the best it will ever get, Rev-ola Records in here in the U.K released this Album under the original title in 2008 and even though they did a very good job the distortion which featured on the Original Master was still very apparent. This Version Re-Mastered in DSD Mastering Format from 2007 happily removes a lot more distortion than any other previous Re-Master has but some still remains and always will, It's just the way it is. Thank you for reading my review of the Debut Album by the incomparable talent that is Laura Nyro.

Christmas And The Beads Of SweatLaura NyroLaura Nyro's Forth AlbumLaura's Forth Album was recorded in 1970 and this Album contains some of personal favourite tracks Laura recorded. Stand out tracks are: Upstairs By A Chinese Lamp, Beads Of Sweat, When I Was A Freeport You Were The Main Drag, Brown Earth, Blackpatch, This Version Re-Mastered in DSD Mastering Format from 2008 is the only time that the complete Album has been Re-Mastered so the Sound Quality is truly Exceptional compared to the 1990 original CD release. It was released then as a Mini LP Version. Thank you for reading my review of the Debut Album by the incomparable talent that is Laura Nyro.
