I use it for both powder and cream foundation (not too thick, but not runny) and it gives me the blended, sheer to medium coverage I want :) I apply foundation slowly, and precisely in sections, so the size is just right for me. It's dense and soft - after the first layer of foundation, i tap additional layers around my eyes and I feel no discomfort at all.

Another perfect swipe and go brush for my hooded eyes with a fold. This brush is wide enough to cover the lid, the area under the fold, and just the right amount of visible lid after the fold. The color is placed and blended perfectly. Doesn't hurt that it's soft and comfortable to use around the eyes.

Giving this 5 stars because it's a perfect match for my eye size and shape -- hood, fold, medium lid space -- LOL! I load it up with powder, lay it flat (pointy tip on inner corner of my eye), swipe, and done. And as other reviewers mentioned, you can use this all over your eye (brow bone, lash line, under eye, outer corner). The goat hair is soft enough for me, and I don't feel any prickly hairs at all. I think I need backup's.
