Final Fantasy IX Music Box A Place to Call HomeOnly wish it were longerIt is such a pleasure to listen to this theme, I hope one day we'll get a full version of the song. As it is it's still really enjoyable, Square-Enix knows how to deliver the music box format. Still, since this is one of my favourite Final Fantasy themes, I regret that the loop is so short.

Seija no Koshin [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]Salyu X haruka nakamuraI stayed for the beautiful songsThis album is short but really beautiful. I wanted to check it out after watching Trigun Stampede and hearing the two songs used in the endings but really, the alternate and long versions are a marvel.

Final Fantasy IX Music Box Not AlonePerfect renditionWithout a doubt my favourite music box of the set. The melody loops very nicely, the music box in itself is simplistic but pretty, the sound rendition is perfect. The packaging was intact, nothing to complain about.
-
Final Fantasy IX Music Box Roses of MayTotally satisfiedBeate's theme is perfect for a music box adaptation, I don't regret my purchase. The packaging is on par with Square-Enix usual quality of service and there are no defects to report. I'm quite happy.

Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary Magnet Collection BoxBeautiful decoArrived in perfect condition, the individual packagings prevented any scratch on the magnets. The art is beautifully rendered and it has a very nice feel to the touch. It's really well crafted and sticks perfectly to the fridge.

Transparent Music Box / "Fate/stay Night" 20th Anniversary Concert ring your bellCould be perfectedThe product in itself is okay, the music is clear and the box well made but the choice of this song for a music box with a short cylinder of music sheet was not very wise. Just going through the very begining of the song before starting again does not make for a very nice loop. I understand that this song is emblematic of the Unlimited Blade Works animation but some adjustments would have been welcomed for a music box format.

Transparent Music Box / "Fate/stay Night" 20th Anniversary Concert Hana no UtaNot a totally well thought choiceThe original song is not really suited for this model of music box. It is too long and complex to be reduced to a short part from the begining and going on repeat. The forced result is kinda strange. It would have been better if the box had a longer cylinder for the music sheet, or if they took the time to chose another part of the song instead of the very first notes. =/

Kingdom Hearts / Music Box Dearly BelovedSimple and CleanThe theme Dearly Beloved is well suited for the little music box format, considering that it was already used for some of the games in a similar format. The loop goes nicely, the design of the box is simple and elegant, just like the music.

Persona Series "PERSONA LIVE TOUR 2024 - more ahead -"V.A.Good, just a little underwhelmingThe event shows off a good playlist and the singers and musicians deliver a great performance. The step back in comparison to past concerts is in the staging, mise en scene. The cast of dancers was reduced and mostly changed beside two or three exceptions, and while there is still use of CGI models characters to add some flair, it is overall less imaginative than what was done for the 2022 and 2019 lives concerts. Also, it is a tad disappointing that the regular edition only comes with one disc of performance while past iterations came with additional footage of "behind the scenes". In the end the performances still made me sing along and move to the beats but I expected a show of more ambition like the past productions prooved they could achieve.

Haitaka no Psychedelica Theme Song & SoundtrackGame MusicFolk tales and music.Visual novels often have amazing soundtracks to complete the world building and the one for this game is really great. The collaboration of Akiko Shikata is a perfect fit for the whole folk ambiance. I can still remember many of them many years after finishing the game and am very happy to be able to listen to them whenever I want to get back to this universe.

Radiant Historia Original SoundtrackGame MusicAmazing work of composition. This is one of my favourite OST by Yoko Shimomura. The whole collection has a strong identity that cannot be confused with anything else, and the ending song Historia is a wonderful conclusion. The battle themes are among my favourites, especially An Earnest Desire of Grey.

Lullaby For YouJYONGRIa must have for every TWEWY fanIf you loved the original The World Ends With You game on the Nintendo DS, the ending song surely stayed in your mind. As it was not released with any OST, I was very glad to get the chance to hear the original single and to discover the artist. I will always keep Jyongri's voice in my heart.

Persona 3 The Movie: No. 3, Falling Down (English Subtitles) [Regular Edition]AnimationFavourite movie from a wonderful gameWithout a doubt my favourite of the four movies. It covers a great deal of interactions that we did not get in the game or even in the manga, and Akira Ishida does a great job portraying the relationship between the protagonist and Ryoji. I'm really appreciative of these packages with English Subtitles. They're a real boon.

Persona 5 2 [Limited Release]AnimationNice bonus !This volume has a very fun drama cd with an original scenario unlike the other ones which follow greatly the game content. It's a treat for sore ears, the cast is really doing amazing. =)

Castlevania - Symphony of the NightGame MusicClassic among the classicsI think this is the only version of the OST that still has "I am the Wind" recorded as the ending song. If only for Cynthia Hawell's wonderful interpretation, this cd is amazing. Of course, Yamane Michiru's work for the game is incredible in its diversity and quality. I think Lost Painting will always be my favourite track.

Music from Castlevania (Akumajo Dracula) AkaGame MusicSoundtracks of HistoryEach cd comes in a single case, with a music sheet of one iconic track per game. It's a really nice way to complete one's collection of Castlevania's OST, especially those of the portable episodes that did not have the best support at the time. I've wanted to find nice rearrangements of Aria of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia's tracks for a while so I'm really glad Konami released this collector. Michiru Yamane's work on this licence is incredible.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 5 The Royal Mug Cup All-star PatternThe favourite mugBought this as a gift for a friend and I think it's now her favourite mug. The graph art is beautiful and the marketing team took the time to associate to each character flowers corresponding to their personality traits and relationships. It's really cute and well thought.

PERSONA SUPER LIVE P-SOUND WISH 2022 - Kosasuru Tabiji - LIVE CDV.A.25th Anniversary ConcertThe concert for the 25th anniversary of the series, and the last to have the wonderdul Kawamura Yumi on stage ... There are some really nice ideas for the production on this one, with use of CGI models on stage, and the blu-ray comes with the option to chose from several viewing angles, allowing us to focus on differents parts of the stage or to follow the flow of the initial editing. It is really practical and I hope they'll keep this option going forward.

Persona Super Live P-Sound Street 2019 - Q Ban Theater e Yokoso - [2BD / Regular Edition]V.A.Nice evening at the theater. This concert was really amazing. It's incredible to see how far the productions have gone since the first venues in 2009. Atlus is really going all out with the spectacles. I'm very grateful for the captations, allowing me to party along from home. It's well edited and does justice to the amazing production.

30th Anniversary Early BEST Collection for Soundtrack [w/ Blu-ray, Limited Edition]Yuki KajiuraBeautiful collectionIn this time when it's not so easy to find early 2000's OST anymore, this collection is a wonderful catch for any Kajiura fan. Plus, the case is really pretty, wooden with delicate engravings.
