The continuation of the musical story line, which has absolutely everything! Action, great songs and singing voices and of course actors. I loved this part a lot, since it focuses on the Mononobe that are recruited. This time the mononobe has to struggle with his fate, although he wants to return the favor of being saved earlier in life. It's the first time we get to see a variation of such a position. Also Hizen Tadahiro and Mucchan have their genuine struggles and inner conflicts to deal with here. And yet, there's a lot of humour in the musical too! Unlike in Michi no Oku where there's darkness pretty much all the time. I can really recommend this musical if you didn't get it yet. Although you should have watched the following musicals to fully understand/follow the plot: Kishou Hongi, Tokyo Kokoro Oboe, Kousui Sanka no Yuki and Michi no Oku Hitotsu Hachisu. If not though it's still enjoyable, there will be moments and layers that aren't grasped easily.

Ever wanted solos to the duets of Gou on Stage Zepp Tour!? Then you've come to the correct show. The most positive is the feeling of the Gous and Suishinshi & Oodenta, they're having a lot of fun here and spread the vibes. I still think the previous Zepp Tour had a bit more variation and I miss Raita-san's beatboxing skills in this one, the essence lies in the solo songs that emphasize the characters' personalities. The highlight though is still Oodenta Mitsuyo mimicking Kaguya Hime. Enjoy the reboot if you loved the other show, but you're now in desperate need of more solos.

Ah yes, the good old Butai that not only shows the interesting historical plot, but also focuses on the Touken Danshi's relationships with each other. I like how Kasen Kanesada is shown with a variety of emotions and bonds. Otherwise the Date Masamune-squad is showing off very beautifully. The action is high in this one, so you'll definitely enjoy. However, you will notice that this early stage play only sets up a few premises that are more present in later Stage plays. As usually the packaging is stunning - I think when you'd only focus on the packaging, the musical could probably learn from the Stage play.

It's been a while since I got this and I have watched it a few times until now. I love this Butai Touken Ranbu the most, for one thing because of the sortie but also because of the plot. I like how the butai version sticks a lot closer to the game than the musical does (which also is a bonus for both, because you'll always have a great variety). The story is very interesting and engaging, not only showing the struggles during the mission, but also the struggles between the different characters. Nagasone Kotetsu and Hachisuka Kotetsu have their usual conflict, but I really enjoyed the conclusion this time. I can really recommend this stage play. The DVD/Blu-Ray comes beautifully packed!

I bought this as a proxy item since it's difficult to get your hands on the TKRB wanpaku plushies of this size nowadays. I am impressed by the quality and how soft the plushie really is. However, Koryuu might not be the most cuddly plush since he has a lot of armour and a lot of accessoiries that a little firm. But! He really has a lot of small details on him. Both the red strings and the little sword is super cute. If you have the chance to get him somehow and somewhere, you should do so :)

I really like the entire storyline of the abandoned timelines being visited and also the story of the Hosokawa-ke. Really good choices were made in the castings of the historical people and for the first time having a woman starring as a Touken Danshi! I feel that it was really refreshing to have some female actors in the stageplays and although it is a long stage play, it never gets boring. I can highly recommend this.

I really liked this stage play due to it's interesting setting. Chougi and Nikkou are following the individual stories of Oodenta & Sohayanotsugi, then Chatanakiri & Sasanuki and lastly Kogarasumaru and Shichiseiken without really engaging with them until the end for a little plot twist. We also see Oodenta and Sohayanotsurugi's kiwame forms. For those of you who haven't seen the stage yet, it seems that also Chougi is setting out for Kiwame training. Overall it was a very interesting setting to have it divided into parts, but the stage plays have liked to experiment with some other things too.

This CD contains the live version of the second part of the musical. To me this version is so exciting to listen to, since you can compare the studio- and autotuned versions with their natural voices and thinging. I have to say that none of the actors would really need autotune, but I guess it is always used to ensure minor errors. I recommend this one rather than the story-part live, but I guess it's always about preference :)

As a survey mission for the saniwa, this sanki mission is rarther fun. There are upbeat songs, the dynamics between the three main characters is also well portraited and their singing is superb. But the story also ties perfectly into the musical's main plot which takes place after MichiOku. YAmanbagiri learns that sometimes friends must separate to make both path overcome trials and hardships. Sometimes a friendship cannot be mended unless there's some form of separation. So Yamanbagiri also thinkgs that the two Edo artists are like Tsurumaru and Mikazuki, but he'd like to help them heal their friendship. We also get to see another Tsukumogami which is neither a Touken Danshi or a Historical Revisionist. See for yourself, it's a great add-on to the usual musical plot.

Speaking of the early versions of the TouMyu, Bakumatsu Tenrouden has suffered from a lot of inconcistencies such as the Historical Revisionists being able to shapeshift into other beings. So one of them is actually changing into the black cat which Okita Souji meets. You know in history there is that tale about Okita Souji and the cat. Also the set list of song and a lot of the story line are very different from the 2020 re-run of the play. You also hear the yet to evolve voices of all the actors - and even though they aren't that mature yet, their singing is great and the songs are lovely to listen to.

Unlike the re-runs of Atsukashiyama Ibun and Bakumatsu Tenrouden, there are only minor changes to the original content. It seems that the original run wasn't as experimental as the early musicals. However, the story has been tied together in a better way. The actors all have improved their singing significantly and you feel that they made changes which are logical. Ishikirimaru's struggles are far more visible here. They also switched songs up and Shouri no Hata was taken out of the set list. There are also brandnew songs in the concert part.

This musical part is one of my faovurites - without doubts. And Mikazuki Munechika isn't even in this play. However the CD consists as always of two studio versions of the musical part and the mini concert. Additionally there is the live-recording for the mini concert and this is what I usually go for. Also this musical was held during Covid restrictions, so there are unfortunately not many reactions from the audience. Well, nevertheless Toukyou Kokoro Oboe has a bunch of great and talented singers and actors and whole list of great songs. I can only recommend you to get one of these if you ever get the chance.

The B-version of the album consists of the studio versions with auto-tune editions of the Musical part and mini-concert and an extra CD with the live recording of the concert. I chose this version over the live musical recording, since I love to compare the concert parts with the studio versions. Unfortunately this was still in the Covid times, which means there was not really a lot interactions with the audience. Nontheless the live part was just as exciting as the entire Shizuka no Umi no Paraiso. I think it's one of the strongest musical parts in TouMyu.

It's too bad this CD isn't available on this page anymore. I got it a long time ago and have to say that this musical part is one of the most dramatic in the entire TouMyu. If you ever fint it again, get it! I have as usually chosen the B-part so I have the mini-concert for the live voices. Although I think the concert part is weaker in this one, as the songs were not as various as we're used to. But listening to e.g. Super Duper Day is absolutely fun!

I love this version of the CDs a lot!! As I said, I'm a huge fan of the entire musical especially when I think about the amount of songs and the huge singing talents here. I went for the B-version to get the live voices in the mini-concert. None of the actors need the auto-tune, actually, but to have the possibility to compare the two versions is great. The best bonus is of course the DVD with the music videos of both main characters' image songs.

I always struggle with choosing which version to take, but I mostly go with the concert-live version like this. While the studio records are wonderful additions, I really love the natural unedited voices by the actors. Especially when everyone is such a good singer! I can recommend this CD since you can enjoy the mini concert from the live record as well as the studio one.

I think this expedition mission of Tsurumaru and Ookurikara is one of the best expeditions so far. The story spans over several years and shows all the major events in Date Masamune's life. The play is very varied with both humour and serious scenes. The singing is superb, although I think that Tsurumaru has far more singing lines than Ookurikara, which might come with a kind of imbalance. The story is also set after Shizuka no Umi no Paraiso, but shows also how Ookurikara first manifested and how Tsurumaru trained him. Really exciting to watch, I can only recommend!

The Sengo Muramasa & Tonbokiri expedition mission is more of a retelling on how Sengo Muramasa turned into the bewitched sword. The whole setting is also very aestetically pleasing, a little bit bizzare and confusion, but everything adds up into a very mystic atmosphere which I really enjoyed. Both Ota Motohiro's and Spi's singing is first class. The track list though is very slow and toned down, almost melancholic and dark. Another downside, I think is that the play only lasts for 1,5 hours, excluding the short mini concert at the end. This is pretty short compared to other expedition missions like the one with Tsurumaru and Ookurikara. However, since there aren't any historical figures, I think it had be short enough to not exhaust the actors. However, it's pretty sad that it's so short although the pricing is the regular TouMyu-DVD.

I finally own the DVD to this musical concert!! When I first watched this one, quite late tbh. since I didn't have a chance to watch anything of it before 2019, I finally got the DVD. SRS2017 has a wonderful overarching story of scary stories told by the Touken Danshi. I nowadays miss the times when the SRS had a plot outlining the concert. There was still a lot of interactions, so I wonder why they don't do that anymore. I liked the ensembly of swords from all the different formations at that point of time. Additionally, I also liked how they put on the setlist.

I think this SRS is the weakest when it comes to story - like, there's a festival going on, but nobody tells you what kind of festivities and why. We only know that Suishinshi is kind of influencing a lot of it and it is also a lot about Masakado's duality as a deity and a demonic creature. However what SRS2022 does really, really well is showing interactions between different Touken Danshi and they were also really good at putting together combinations of Touken Danshi that are rather unusual. Timeline with Kiyomaro and Imanotsurugi? Yes, that's a thing! As well as Timeline with Imanotsurugi and Kogitsunemaru. It's all great in that aspect. This SRS is also highly recommended!
