Yet Another Amazing cd by Shiro Sagisu!
I hope this is convincing: as this is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. If you have not heard any of Shiro Sagisu's works from previous Evangelion Movies or the show, then you should know that he is very talented at what he does. Like with 2.0, some of the music is orchestrated by the london symphony orchestra, making for the epic music that the new series seems to have. There are intense songs like the wrath of god in all it's fury, and also quiet songs, that are not boring, but rather quite momentous. You will not be disappointed by this CD even if you have heard his older stuff, as this is just as phenomenal, if not more so, then his other music. Even if you have never seen or heard of Evangelion, you should buy this for the amazing soundtrack that is. Of all soundtracks I have heard, this is by far the best. I listened to a fair amount of the songs, but there were a few I did not listen too, because I did not want to spoil it for when I watch the new movie. No doubt about it, this is music at some of it's best. From orchestrated music, to instrumental, this cd will (not) disappoint.
