Farewell Tour?
The band has done farewell tours, but with the passing of original member Pat Torpey, this run of shows could be their live album swan song.
The overall sound quality is pretty good, although the shows are pretty scripted, even down to the between song patter, so you are sorting of getting nine versions of the same show.
BUYERS BEWARE-My copy of the Tokyo shows has the sound cutting out in the middle of the song "1992" and skips the last two songs. The label site mentions that this show is 'supplemented by another sound source because the data after the middle of the latter half of the song "1992" is missing.' That would lead me to believe that the disc should have all three songs, albiet edited. I am unable to get a straight answer as to whether this is a manufacturing defect or not.
Overall this is a good set but probably only for die-hards.
