When I first heard Jay Chou's music a little more than 2 decades I wasn't as fond of his early releases. Even some later ones were sorta hit or miss for me. Lately though, I've been re-listening to many and have really fallen in love with his songs, all of them in fact. He's such a fantastic and unique artist and this was a wonderful starting point for his career. So many fantastic songs and I just love the packaging too. Definitely recommended!!

This is a gorgeous set for this album's 30th Anniversary. I remember this being my 1st Mariah album I really took interest in checking out as a kid after hearing the beautiful classic ballad "Hero" on the radio. Unsurprisingly the rest of the album was just as wonderful. This set does it even more justice. The mastering is great and I love the bonus CDs with all the extras. Also, I rarely like most Western artists' concerts, but the live on the bonus DVD included was my first concert to see of hers and I was very impressed. Great show! The set comes with 2 booklets as well. The 1st has the lyrics in English along with a bunch of pictures and a lovely thank you note to her fans and the people who helped work on the album. The 2nd is mostly in Japanese with lyrics and notes about the album printed in Japanese. It does have a nice photo of her from the concert that's included on the DVD though. Excellent set!! Definitely recommended!!

This is a classic fantastic album from MC. Has soo mamy great songs on it. This limited release sounds awesome and includes the original deluxe edition bonus tracks on disk one while the 2nd disk has some great mixes and other fun versions. The package of this is awesome and made of quality materials. Has some great pictures as well. Was definitely worth every yen to add it to my collection!!

This is a very interesting album from HYDE. It's more mellow than many of his other more hard rock deliveries in the past. It's hauntingly beautiful or just plain beautiful throughout the album. It took a couple listens to truly appreciate this as a complete album, but it's really taken to me. The case and inner design is lovely. Some great pictures and the lyrics are nicely laid out as well. I also received the poster with my copy and had it framed before hanging it in my living room. Definitely recommended as a wonderful addition to one's music collection.

This is yet another fantastic album from HYDE. There's absolutely no filler. All are fantastic tracks! The cover and images inside are amazing. Taking Them Down & 6or9 are my favorite songs. Definitely recommended to anyone who loves rock music.

I've never been a big fan of Jay's or most Manadarin singers for that matter, but he's got some wonderful songs and is a fantastic pianist too. This album though is one of few where I REALLY enjoy EVERY SONG from start to finish. It's actually my absolute favorite album of his, and since I hadn't bought the original release YEARS ago I was both surprised and happy to see it get re-released on this wonderful format. From what I've been told there's no difference in package design between this and the original. It is lovely though. Many great pictures. The MVs are interesting too. Hadn't watched 'em before either. Definitely recommended.

Exodus was a unique and interesting album from the singer's discography when it first released 22 years ago and it's still an exceptional work of art today. So many exceptional and fun tracks. The remastering for this LP set is amazing as well. Sounds glorious on my turntable and the packaging is lovely too. Definitely highly recommended!!

This is to date my second favorite Rihanna album. Has plenty of great songs. I bought this particular edition as it includes the "Bimbo Jones Radio" and "CCW Radio Mix" remixes of "Only Girl (In The World)" as bonus tracks on this CD. Both are great remixes and I absolutely love listening to them along with every other track on this album. The packaging is beautiful and includes some lovely photos of the singer. Plus, there's also an inserted extra booklet of the lyrics to every song written in both English and Japanese. This definitely belongs in every R&B fan's music collection!!

This is a great classic album with sooo many awesome songs like Umbrella, Don't Stop The Music, Shut Up And Drive, Rehab, Disturbia and more. I specifically bought this edition cause it includes 2 tracks that were not on the album in my country, Cry and Haunted. Both are INCREDIBLE songs and don't deserve to be absent from this CD. The packaging is also lovely and it even includes a bonus additional booklet with the lyrics for all songs listed in English along with a translation into Japanese. Definitely recommended!!

Honestly, most of Kumi's 25th Anniversary last year felt a little lackluster for the overall majority of the 12 months. There weren't too many interesting releases, and all we really got was a rather unusual "live" audio best album and the DeCODE EP. But then she ends 2025 with this HUGE HIT. This concert is FANTASTIC from START TO FINISH. So many amazing performances. Great stage props, sets, costumes and more. Plus, the dancers and Kuu are on fire. Her vocals are also superb throughout. Keep your eyes out too for some subtle hints and references to past releases and tours. Not to mention several On-Stage costume and hair changes. The packaging is simple but cool, and it even comes with a cool post card and a large sticker. Definitely recommended!!

This album is one of her ABSOLUTE BEST original classics. It's very electronica based and has SOOO MANY great early songs including a concert staple she's performed at almost every tour over the years, Boys & Girls. Plus numerous others like Fly high, Trauma, TO BE, appears and more. The vinyls sound remastered. I'm pretty sure they used the audio from the Anniversary version from a few years ago, which all sound incredible. Also, despite it not being mentioned on the tracklist the hidden track kanariya IS included. It's gorgeous and recreates the original album in many ways. An interesting detail added to this LP Set is that both her name and album title are added along the left side of the front cover. There's also a beautiful folded slip in the first slot which flips open with the lyrics to every song and several photos. Very highly recommended!!!

This album definitely has that fun 90s sound to it. It's a nostalgia trip even if this is your first time giving it a listen. It's fun and has some good ballad songs too. There's also a lot of different instruments heard in his music that you don't always hear in a lot of modern western music as well. The sound quality is exceptional. Not sure if it was remastered, but it definitely sounds awesome, very crisp and clear. He's a fantastic talented singer too. The packaging is very simple but lovely recreating the original 1995 CD release in many ways. It also came with a cute sticker of the cover art. My only small criticism is that the album is 11 tracks, but is stretched out over 2LPs. None of the tracks are much more than around 5 minutes, so it could've been put on just 1LP. Still, I definitely recommend this album!! Great addition to any collection!!

This is a cute little single I purchased to further complete my Namie collection. They're both great dance tunes, and are the original Japanese language versions of these songs. The album Uncontrolled that followed afterwards had the English renditions, so I really wanted to have both versions of both songs in my collection. The inserts with the lyrics and outer package design is also very lovely. Recommended!!

This is honestly now one of my new absolutely favorite albums EVER from Mika Nakashima!! The songs are all top quality and being separated onto the 2 disks with the matinee and soiree theme is pure genius. Both disks are absolutely wonderful. The 3rd disk included with the concert and MVs are fantastic. Absolutely love the concert in Seoul. She's got a nice stage, some ballerinas, a dancer and a very nice band. Her stage presence and vocals are insanely good here all the way throughout. Plus she performs some of my favorite songs like "We are all stars", "Glamorous Sky" and even "FIND THE WAY". The MVs on this album are top notch as well. Love 'em all, but "We are all stars" is definitely my favorite of the bunch. I adore the drag queen theme done for this song. The package of the album is also wonderful. Very well designed and the design of the disks is beautiful. Also comes with a very nice booklet printed on real nice semi-silky paper with the lyrics and credits nicely laid out throughout the pages, and some really nice photos of Mika herself sprinkled throughout. Highly recommend this album!!

This is an almost perfect Vinyl re-release of this classic debut album from a Japanese icon. The packaging perfectly recreates the original release. It even has the silvery texture and appearance of the original. They even added her name and album title to the front cover beautufully, something which wasn't on the original. The only down side to this release is I'm fairly positive this wasn't fully remastered. I think it should've been considering when it was first released. Still, I think the audio sounds better than the original CD release which is lovely nonetheless. There's quite a few early jams on this album, which I adore like "Hana", "A Song for xx", "poker face", "YOU", "Depend on you" and "SIGNAL". Definitely reccomended!!

BoA's 2004 tour is a fantastic show. Her vocals are stupendous and her energy is pumping. Also, the band and dancers are fantastic, but BoA really keeps the main focus on herself as the true star of this show and rightfully so. It's engaging and fun, even the slower parts where she performs lovely ballads such as "Song With No Name" and "LOVE & HONESTY" are such a treat. The stage is setup with an awesome huge UFO design built in, which gets used frequently. There's also plenty of props and effects in the show, and during the performance of "Midnight Parade" she's definitely dealing out some classic MJ vibes our way, and she pulls them off flawlessly. It's really too bad we never got the chance to see them on stage together. My only small criticism is that a couple outfits are definitely of their time and haven't aged well. Aside from that one thing this is a fantastic concert. Also, the bonus footage of her performance at the MTV AWARDS was a great addition to this release as well. This DVD definitely belongs in EVERY BoA collection!! Highly recommended!!

...a fantastic talent. This album is one of my favorite albums from the earlier half of his career. It has so many wonderful songs on it. The opening song Strawberry S3x along with I'm So Drunk are a lot of fun and my personal favorite more upbeat tracks on the album. The sound on the vinyl is fantastic too. The packaging is very simple. It has the line-drawing design on front and back with tracklist. The center fold is just the tracklisting again and album credits. However, there is a sweet Thank You note mentioned amongst this. It also includes a double sided inside sheet with the lyrics for every song laid out nicely. Sadly there's no extra photos of the singer. It does however come with a cute sticker of the album cover and a clear plastic slip for taking care of it. Recommended!!

Perfect. This is a fantastic re-release of Ayu's legendary 4th masterpiece. There's sooo many great iconic songs on this album and I just love how they sound on this new vinyl. The center of each vinyl recreates the design of the original CD with the sandy color and dove, and the rest of the packaging also recreates the original CD release as well. It's a stunning design. Plus, while not mentioned on the song list, the hidden track "flower garden" from the original release is still included. Super highly recommended to all Ayu and JPOP fans!!

The vinyl re-releases are all wonderful and this is no exception. MY STORY is amazing on vinyl. There's sooo many awesome bangers, beautiful ballads and even the fun semi-cute "HONEY" on this album that it's hard to choose just one possible favorite. The sound is fantastic and I can honestly hear some details in the music that I couldn't hear as clear on the original CD release. The packaging recreates the original CD jewel case design in many ways. The front and back are identical. When folded open the long middle is recreating the first page of the lyrics booklet showing the image of her in the bath covered by bubbles and surrounded by flowers with the tracklisting and album logo to the side. The center of each vinyl has the label designed identical to the original CD, and it comes with a folded slip inside the first slot. The front and back of it are identical to the lyrics booklet. When folded open the lyrics and credits to every track are listed across nicely with a row featuring several photos from the original lyrics booklet. They're absolutely gorgeous. I very highly recommend grabbing this before it's too late!!

Ayu's Duty is yet another one of her top early masterpieces FINALLY now available on the vinyl format. The packaging goes a great deal to recreate the original CD release's details in its design and layout. One slight difference though, which was interesting, is on the original cover along the left side it only read her name in the gold font. For this release they added the album title as well, so it reads "ayumi hamasaki Duty". It was unnecessary I think, but they did manage to make it blend in well without looking out of place. The center label on each side of the LPs themselves features the leopard print design. It's all stunningly gorgeous throughout. The sound is immersive, and I can hear details in the music better than on the original CD release. There's just so many amazing classics on this album to want to hear in this audio, like the title song "Duty", "vogue", "SEASONS", "SURREAL", the sweet beautiful "teddy bear" and the super underrated "SCAR" and "End of the World". My only criticism for this release is that none of the songs are super long. I have other LPs with many more songs on one side and I truly think Duty could've easily been released on just 1LP. Otherwise this is an absolutely fantastic release. Definitely recommended!!
