Do As Infinity LIVE IN JAPAN 2Do As InfinityExcellentAn awesome DVD from one of the best groups out there. While I wasn't at Budokan I did go to a concert on this tour in Osaka. This DVD was just like being there again. At around 2 hours almost non-stop it never gets boring. With a lot of their hits played there's something for everyone. Highly recommended.

Shinobi (English Subtitles) [Igaban, limited Edition]Japanese MovieAwesomeThis is like a live-action anime. The fights are well choregraphed and shot. Breathtaking scenery serves to only enhance the movie, not take away from it. My only complaint is that it was too short. The characters are so interesting but were not given enough time to develop fully. I think this is very much Japan's answer to "Crouchng Tiger Hidden Dragon."

Koshonin Mashoshi Mashita (English Subtitles) Standard EditionJapanese MovieVery goodA good entry into the Odoru series. While not quite as suspenseful as I was hoping it still leaves you guessing right up till the end and has some nice twists and turns. It's good enough to stand on it''s own even without Aoyoshima or Sumire or Muroi. If you like the Odoru series I recommend this.

Yogisha Muroi Shinji (English Subtitles) Standard EditionJapanese MovieWorthy of the Odoru LegendA nice twisting and turning drama. We learn more about Muroi and while Yanagiba still plays him with stoic intensity we see Muroi in a different light. Rena Tanaka is good as the young lawyer. The plot takes many turns, almost enough to require a scorecard to keep up. The only thing I didn't like was the absence of other Odoru Daisosasen cast members, although the Three Amigos make a small cameo. All in all a good movie.

Single V: Ajisai Ai Ai MonogatariBiyudenLike the dance shot version betterWhile this is one of my favorite Biyuden songs I was a little disappointed in the PV. The inserts from their short film. "a short film for v-u-den" detracts a little from the rest of the PV. I actually like watching the dance shot version better. It's an awesome song and the dance choreagraphy is one of the better (and more odd) that I've seen from Hello!Project.

Single V: Kurenai no KisetsuBiyudenGoodAnother good single from one of my favorite Hello!Project artists. One of their more mature songs. I liked it.
-
Single V: Issai Gassai Anata ni AgeruBiyudenVery CuteA very cute video from Biyuden. Very colorful and upbeat. It's a nice break from the more mature tunes thay have. It has helped solidify Yui Okada as one of my favorite Hello!Project members.

Suiteroom Number 1BiyudenExcellentSome great upbeat tunes like you would expect from Hello!Project but also some nice slower, more mature songs. There's only one song I didn't like but one out of eleven isn't a bad ratio. Anxiously waiting thier second album.

Messengers' Rhyme (Movie "Messenger" Main Theme) / No Lights Candle LightToshinobu KubotaNot too badA really nice upbeat song to lift your spirits. It will probably get stuck in your head. I was hoping for the "cast version", as sung by the cast during the end credits of the movie but it's not on here. But the song stands good enough on it's own. Very enjoyable.

Lorelei [Limited Pressing]Japanese MovieVery interestingNot your average sub movie. An interesting mix of history and supernatural. The effects are great and some naval scenes that haven''t been done in films before. I wasa really surprised at how well the American characters were handled, especially in acting ability and how well written. If this movie interests you but don't want to spring for the full package, this bare bones (film-only, no special features) is a great deal.

HajimemashiteRena YamadaA beautiful DVD for a beautiful womanIt's hard to believe she is a weathercaster but Rena Yamada is hands down one of the prettiest girls out there. She has a "natural" beauty around her. A good DVD with a variety of settings and clothes.

Mata Aetara . . .Rena YamadaRena Yamada: Mata AetaraRena is one of the best looking women out there, with a natural, girl-next-door look. Her second DVD is great, with lots of different outfits, interviews and even a special video of her racing high school track when she lived in America. And she's a weatercaster on top of all this. Wonderful.

Best - Second Session - [Jacket B / CD+DVD]Kumi KodaGreat CD!Another great CD from Koda Kumi. The music videos are quite distinct. It's interesting how four of them are interconnected to make a longer story. A bonus feature is watching only those four back to back, so you get the whole story. As usual her songs are great and it's nice to hear another Disney rendition in English. A couple of songs have a distinct "pop" feel as opposed to her normal hip-hop influence. It's nice that there is a lot of variety in here. My personal favorite from this CD is Shake It Up.
