GUITAROO-MAN - Original SoundtrackGame MusicLong Live the Guitar! These are some of the best guitar rifts I have heard since Jimmy Hendrix and Deep Purple. To put it simply, every song on this cd rocks. Hard. The only odd-song-out, if you wiill, on the cd is track 4, "Flyin' To Your Heart". This is a really catchy j-pop/techno song that is only song that feel kind of out place, but by no means, unlikeable. Do yourself a favor and buy this cd now!

Majo no Otya-kai Original SoundtrackGame SoundtrackA rare gemThis is a soundtrack to a bishoujo pc game. I probably know what you are thinking. "The music must be horrible and repetitive", right? Not so, in this case. I saw my friend playing this game one day and I found myself just enjoying the music in the game itself, realizing how when produced it was to only be used in a bishoujo game. I aske my friend to help me find the OST for the game she was playing and I purchased the cd without a second thought. The background music is really well made and the the cd has all of the full length vocal songs featured in the game. There are only three songs out of the whole cd that I don't really care for, mainly because they are too sugary sweet or a little too dark and menacing for my taste. A great soundtrack, overall.

Martian Successor NADESICO-Ruri Hoshino at VocalRuri Hoshino(Omi Minami)The Electronic FairyA great cd with, surpriseingly, a lot of great songs. Omi Minami does a really good job of singing the songs presented on this cd. There are only one or two songs that don't quite match Omi Minami's singing style but that's a minor gripe. By far the best track on the cd is "Sweet Call", which captures the true essence of Ruri's character. A nice cd that all Ruri fans should own.

Camera=Mannenshitu (camera=stylo)Sanae Kobayashi, Kiyomi Asai, Miyu MatsukiCatchy, Catchy, Catchy! The endhing theme for this show is one catchy tune. So catchy, that I simply had to purchase this single just for the ending theme and it's karaoke counterpart. The other song on the cd is the opening theme of the show that was, unfortunately, never used due to the fact that the show was canceled after only the very first episode (the opening of the fist episode only opens with a prologue, and nothing more). Which brings me to the issue of the opening theme itself that is forgettable in a "love hina" kind of way, if you get my drift. I'm not saying that the opening is terrible. It's average at best. But, after listening to it once or twice, you probably won't have the desires to listen to it again. One thing about this single that is definite, is that the ending theme catchy but not annoying and worth listening to.

Kanon TV Series [Florescence]AnimationSymphonic in natureCalming and beautiful, but sad at the same time. This is the nature of the music of Kanan. And I would not want that to change for anything. These song are packed with emotion, and the songs themselves have a greater impact on the listener because of this. Very sweeping music.

Ooji MAGICAL THEATER: RISKY & SAFETYMaaya SakamotoTruely Heartfelt MusicMaaya Sakamoto's singing always seems to give me the strong impression that it's all truely coming from the heart. When accompanied by light percussion, violin, piano, flute, and strong meaningfull lyrics, her voice is given an almost angelic feeling. This these songs are perfect examples of relaxation music.

MAICO ha odoruMAICOSimply WonderfulSakura Tange's voice is simply wonderful. Her soft and gental voice really brings the lyrics of these songs to life. And if performed by any other artist, I don't think these songs would reatain the same warmth and energy they do here. These song's seemed tailor-made just for Sakura Tange's sweet and gental vocals. Very recommended.

the Quantum EPm-floI want to hear more.I fisrt heard about this group listening to internet radio. The song "One Sugar Dream" was playing and when the song was over, I wanted to hear it again and again. Which brings me to this single. To be honest, I only brought this cd for the song mentioned above but, the other track, "Quantum Leap" has piqued my interest in hearing more of their music. They have a style that I haven't heard from other artist. For anyone not knowing what to expect from this group, this cd should be given a chance. I did, and as I said before, I want to hear more of their music.

Mangetsu wo Sagashite - Full Moon Final LiveChangin' My LifeA very worthwhile purchaseThis is nice cd that gives you all of the vocal songs from the series, as well as a few extras. The songs are nicely varied in style and pace but still keep that j-pop feel about them that was so prevalent throughout the series. There is even a version of "Smile" on the cd sung by the original mangaka of the series, Tanemura Arina. As you can probably guess, this version of the song is pretty funny but, it is also surprisingly pretty good. Tanemura-san doesn't butcher the song as much as you would think. Any Full Moon wo Sagashite fan would be doing themselves a big favor by picking up this cd. If anything, just to hear and campare Tanemura-san's rendition of "Smile" with the version originally performed by Changin' My Life.

Sunny Side Hill (Mujin Wakusei Survive ED Theme)ROUND TABLE featuring NinoGreat sinlgeMy review may be a bit biased but, I can't help it. I simply love ROUND TABLE's music. Of all the anime themes ROUND TABLE have performed, I have always liked "Sunny Side Hill" the best. Nino's vocals are excellent and the background music is nothing less of what I would expect from this band. I could listen to this song over and over.

AprilROUND TABLE featuring NinoROUND TABLE's best cd so farI can't get enough of ROUND TABLE. I can't get enough of Nino. Together, ROUND TABLE feat. Nino are a musical force to be reckoned with. This album has track after track of great songs. I am continuously amazed by their carefull blend of so many different genres of music. They seem to take in every influence . Everything from funk, R & B, jazz, punk, and techno. It can all be heard in their songs, but in a way that's totally enjoyable to listen to. This cd is a sure winner.

Tenchi Muyo! Ryououki - Ongaku Shu - Dai 3 Ki Series Vol.2Animation SoundtrackAn "okay" ensembleIn terms of quality of the background music, the first Tenchi Muyo! Ryououki - Ongaku Shu - Dai 3 Ki Series cd was much better. I can't help but feel like these background tracks were probably left-over pieces of music from the series. Despite this fact, there are a few background pieces that retain the beauty that many of pieces on the fist soundtrack shared. That aside, this cd's main draw for me was that it has the full length and karaoke versions of the ending theme, "Lovely Cookin'". That was reason enough for me to purchase this cd, seeing as only the OVA sized version of the song is on the first volume.
