An underrated album from (to me) an underappreciated artist like Bob Welch. "Three hearts" is the follow up to the platinum selling "French Kiss" and though not charting as high as that album was still equal to, and, on a couple of tracks better. A gem of an album.

I remember seeing the heavy edited (and poorly dubbed) version of this movie way back when and was always impressed by the score. Back then you couldn't find the soundtrack anywhere for love or money, which was a pity. 2017, I'm in my Osaka hotel room and on the TV comes Shinkansen! Awesome. Next day I'm off to hit all of the music retailers to see if I can get the soundtrack. Most said it was deleted try the second-hand dealers. No joy. 2022 I'm browsing through CDJapan's quite comprehensive soundtrack section and lo and behold, there it is! A knock-out soundtrack to a knock-out film that has just gotten better with age.

An excellent overview of the Yellow Magic orchestra and their place in electronic music history. Essential.

When this MECO disc was released all those years ago during the height of the Star Wars craze it was bad, really bad. But it was a hit around the world so, no accounting for taste. Why did I get it? Because I'm evil and use it to clear out my place when guests overstay their welcome, scaring off unwanted door salespeople and as a potent insect repellant. Try it yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I tend to avoid best of collections when it comes to film composers because often times the tracks chosen are usually a bit on the ho hum side. Not so with this best of from Ryuichi Sakamoto. An excellent overview of a composer at the top of his game. Beautiful.

Isao Tomita has topped himself with this release. Should be in any serious music collector's collection. Fantastic.

First up, I bought this book on the title alone. Who could go past an item like ROCK the BEST without wanting to look inside? And for a price that doesn't break the bank. That's a win, win right there in my book. Can't read Japanese? No problem there, all of the photos are labelled in English. I had never heard of Koh before and have been literally blown away by the gift of his art that he has given for all to see. Who captured some of the most candid shots of the Beatles in 1966? Koh. How about the Rolling Stones? Koh again. Pink Floyd? Led Zeppelin? Cheap Trick? Kate Bush? Queen? Bon Jovi? Koh, Koh, Koh. Here are moments in time that remind us all as to why we loved these artists in the first place. Here are electric live performances, portraits that should be in the finest Photographic galleries around the world and candid shots that show artists are just people like you and me. For anyone out there with an interest in Photography as a historical document especially in the Rock arena will not disappointed. Don't forget his name... KOH. Pure Gold.

Always liked this album and now it has been taken to the next level. The packaging has to be seen to believed, quite the knockout. Awesome. Sonically, nigh on perfect. I have older pressings (CD and Vinyl) that have sounded a bit toppy which can be a bit wearing on the ear whereas this pressing has a presence that is just so right. A must for Floyd fans.

Here is an exceptional example of when great composers, vocal talent and audio engineers go that like extra and provide the listener with something akin to pure magic. Everything sonically is perfect - Beautiful clean highs, nice detail in the bottom end all creating an atmosphere that just blows you away. Every track takes you on a journey of discovery. For the audiophiles out there looking to impress, whether with the latest and greatest in speakers or a fine set of headphones look no further. Essential listening.

Hadn't heard this album in decades so was pleasantly surprised to find on CDJapan. Great presentation with its cardboard sleeve recreating the original look. Sonically, it just knocks your socks off. Fantastic stuff.

Wow! What a great, great album. I've always been a huge fan of the Korgis and was really delighted when I saw this listed on CDJapan. Have already played the album three times and every track just leaves you smiling, they're that good.

Always enjoyed this album but was usually let down by copies pressed elsewhere. Then I get my hands on the Japanese pressing and I'm immediately blown away at the exceptional sonic presence. Also, for a change the audio extras aren't tacked on as filler, they are pretty interesting.

This album is a must for anyone that has even a passing interest in '80's music and electronica as well. Fantastic top shelf stuff.

I originally had Winelight on Japanese vinyl and it was just remarkable. Years later I get the DVD-A version and it was a huge disappointment. Now, along comes this lower priced edition and I must say it is stunning. It is just so clean (not sterile) sonically and you really do appreciate the love and care taken by those handling the mastering etc in Japan. A Classic.

Magic doesn't happen that often, but it did with this release from 10cc. Every track is a killer and this SHMCD just sparkles. Get it.

Don't hesitate in grabbing this little gem. Sure, some of the trax are a bit ropey but Aerosmith doing 'Come Together'? That alone is worth the price. The packaging is top notch and being a SHMCD you can definitely appreciate the sound.
