Thanks to the other two viewer, I realized that even it's labeled as 'goat', it might have sokoho quality (but I'm not sure, because I haven't got a sokoho brush yet). It's way more sleek than I thought. The hair is straight instead of wavy, I heard that Koyudo has a technic called 'straighten' to make hair softer. The brush is more like a paddle (the brush tip is fatter than the pic), and the hair tip starts at the 1/3 of the bottom from the ferrule. It has a large area of picking up powder. The thickness is 15mm at the ferrule, and 21mm in the middle with the transparent plastic sleeve on (the actual thickness is more than that). I like the length, the handle and the shape of this brush. The handle is pale pink with subtle shimmer. It's simple, classic, yet cute. I adore it very much!

For the price, 5 stars. But for the skin feeling, I think it's not as soft as those brushes twice of its price. The hair is thicker than the sokoho of some expensive brands. However, the hair is abundant, just more what was showed in the picture. It's very elastic, good at powder transferring, even able to pick up the finest pressed powder and delivers smartly without any retains on the brush. The handle has little metallic shimmers within the paint, the picture doesn't do it justice. I like the handle length and toss it in my cosmetic bag for commute use.

It's my 1st dipping of toes in Gray Squirrel hair brushes. The undyed hair is brownish grey and well aligned no lost tips, no fragile stripes. The thickness at the ferrule is approximately 13mm, thicker than I thought. The only drawback is the handle, which is made of antistatic Bakelite stuff instead of painted wood, and is too long for my taste. The brush feels as silky as silk and as feathery as down. The blush applied with this brush looks real and natural, not cosmetic or make-up.

I agree with the other viewer, it's wide and firm enough to apply eyebrow powder with one swipe. The hair is abundant (thick), the handle is decorated with little shimmer in a smooth royal blue coating.
