B-EB-02 Eyebrow Smadger Brush / BISYODO Series / Cat(Brown)Makeup BrushSoft eyebrow brushBefore I receive this brush, I thought it should be firm bristle design. However, what I received is a soft eyebrow brush, not as I expected. It still applies the eyebrow powder well, and feel soft when using it. But I prefer more stiff eyebrow brush. This brush is still good though, but I will not recommend this is a must have one.

FO-10 Eyeshadow brush/ Chikuhodo FO Series / Silver FoxMakeup BrushGood eye shadow brushI use this brush to apply eye shadow base, the finger shape design does help the application well. The bristle is still very soft, and the density is just good enough for the application.

B-P-01 Powder Brush / BISYODO Series / Goat SaikohoMakeup BrushGreat and soft powder brushEvery time I use this series of brushes, I still feel surprised that the bristle is so soft even though it's dyed goat hair. The effect of loose powder application is very good which I always enjoy it. Though B-P-01 is smaller than B-F-01, the density is also a bit of different, I still like them both very much.

[Outlet / No returns allowed] No.23 Eyebrow Brush / Water BadgerMakeup BrushGreat eyebrow brushThis brush is just the one I expect for eyebrow brush. And this is better than other Eihodo eyebrow brushes I purchased. The hair is stiff enough to draw the shape and fill the gap of eyebrow, but you won't feel it prick. The effect is quite similar as my Hakuhodo S163 which I like the best so far. But the hair length of No.23 is longer than Hakuhodo S163. Even so, the effect of eyebrow powder application is quite good.

RR-CO1 Concealer Brush Red / Chikuhodo Regular Series / Raccoon dog RedMakeup BrushOK but kind of prickThis is the first time I purchase this type of concealer brush. The size is just right to apply the concealer on the spot. The density of the hair is thicker than my other concealer brush, which might cause taking more product than I expected. But it doesn't bother me at all. What bothers me is the bristle is kind of prick when using it. If you have sensitive skin, I will suggest you skip this brush.

ZE-4 Highlight Brush / Chikuhodo ZEN Series / Premium Silver FoxMakeup BrushSilky cheek brushThough it's indicated as a highlighter brush, I still use it to apply blush since I think the size is just fit. And the effect of blush application is really quite good. I use this brush to apply the latest SUQQU blush 06, and it can get pigment effect which does a bit of surprise me. The bristle is still very silky and soft like other ZEN series brushes. But I do like this one more than others.

[Outlet / No returns allowed] No.428 Concealer Brush / WeaselMakeup BrushGood concealer brushThe hair width is a bit of big, and the handle is also a bit of thick. But the thin flat bristle design does help me a lot to control the concealer usage and also help me to apply the concealer very even and smoothly. It's worthy to get this brush when it's on sale.

EIHODO WP P-2 Makie Powder Brush No.2 / High grade Gray Squirrel Peony sakuraMakeup BrushVery soft powder brushThe bristle is very soft. The size is bigger and the hair is denser than GP-1. I like it more than GP-1. It does perform good application for setting powder.

B-1 Eyebrow Brush/ Eihodo WP Series / Water BadgerMakeup BrushGood eyebrow brushThis water badger bristle is closer to what I expected. The hair is firm enough to control when drawing the eyebrow. The control ability is better than Eihodo No.414 which is also the same bristle type. However, the hair length is still a bit of longer than my favorite type. But I will still recommand this brush than No.414.

EIHODO GP-1 Makie Powder Brush No.3 / Gray Squirrel small right sakuraMakeup BrushVery soft brushIn the beginning I didn't consider to purchase this brush since the ferrule from the photo looks quite thin, and I'm personally more in favor round & thick brush. But after starting to use it, I found it can also provide good application for the loose podwer. I also use it to buff after the loose powder application. The bristle is very soft, very comfortable when using on the face. Though I try to use it to apply setting powder in summber time and I don't meet any issue, I will more recommand to use it in winter when it won't require to apply so much setting powder, the effect of using such soft squirrel hair might be better.

B-C-01 Highlight & Cheek Brush / BISYODO Series / Goat SaikohoMakeup BrushSoft and great cheek brushThe more bisyodo long series brush I use, the more I like this brand and this series brush. I really adore the outlook design of this series, especially for the handle and the ferrule. Though the powder/cheek brushes are made with saikoho hair, they are still really soft. In the beginning I think the B-C-01 is a bit of dense from the outlook which might cause the blush application too pigmented. Surprisinglly, the effect of blush application is very good, not too pigmented and blend very smoothly. I do recommnand this brush for anyone is looking for a good cheeck brush from Bisyodo.

[Outlet / No returns allowed] No.414 Eyebrow Brush / Water BadgerMakeup BrushGood eyebrow brushIt's quite a small eyebrow brush due to the short handle. I chose water badger instead of racoon bristle for eyebrow brush is because I prefer stiff one for better control, which impression is also coming from my favorite Hakuhodo S163. But the bristle of No.414 brush is softer and longer than I expected, so I'm still trying to get used to it and find the best way to do the control when drawing the eyebrow. However, the width of the ferrule and the thickness of the bristle just fit my demand, so I think it's still a good eye brush.

ZE-1 Powder Brush / Chikuhodo ZEN Series / Premium Silver FoxMakeup BrushSoft and dense brushThe bristle is very soft and silky, and it's also comfortable to use it to apply powder on face. But compare to Koyudo Yoshiki Silver fox Large Powder Brush, I feel Koyudo is more silky. The size of ZE1 is bigger than ZE2, the hair is also denser. For setting powder brush I prefer ZE1 than ZE2. If you have to choose one between these two, I'd recommend ZE1.

[Outlet / No returns allowed] No.270 Concealer Brush / WeaselMakeup BrushGood concealer brushThis is the first time I use such type of concealer brush. The thin tip head can help me to apply the concealer quite smoothly without applying too much product, especially for the tear trough and dark circles around the eyes. But for the spots, this brush may not be the best choice due to the flat head and the size. Anyway, I'm still glad that I purchased it while it's on sale.

Z-5 Eye Shadow Brush / Chikuhodo Z Series / Gray SquirrelMakeup BrushFirmer eyeshadow brush than I expected. Before I started to use this brush, I thought it might be too soft to control the application due to its bristle type. However, when I use it to apply eye shadow base color, I feek it is firmer and denser than I expected. I'm quite satisfied with the effect and I'll consider to use it to apply other eye shadow color instead of just for the base color.

EIHODO WP P-1 Makie Powder Brush No.1 / High grade Gray Squirrel small sakuraMakeup BrushExcellent powder brushBefore I started to use it, I thought it's just another normal and soft powder brush since the hair is grey squirrel and its length is quite long. However, when I used it to apply the loose powder on my face, it's beyond my expectation. The hair is quite controllable than I thought considering its hair type and length. The effect of loose powder application is very good. Also, since the shape of this brush is round, I can use it to buff the powder more evenly. The handle of this brush is short, but it doesn't bother me at all. This is my first Eihodo brush, It does give me very good impression and make me want to try other Eihodo brush. I will recommand it to anyone who loves the round shape brush.

KOYUDO Yoshiki Silver fox Powder Brush Large Y-SFP / Powder LMakeup BrushVery Soft and silky brushThis bristle is the same soft as Chikuhodo FO series, but I feel Koyudo is more silky than Chikuhodo FO series. This large powder brush is less dense than I expect. For me, I like denser brush for setting powder. But I can't deny that it's super comfortable to apply this brush on my face.
-
FO-5 Eye Shadow Brush / Chikuhodo FO Series / Silver FoxMakeup BrushBig eye shadow brushThe bristle is soft as expected, but the size is a bit of big to Asian people as an eye shadow brush. So I only use it to apply base color of eye shadow or to blend the edge. It's still a good brush, just not multitask enough for my usage.

Ksz-06(KK-5) Eye Liner Brush / KOYUDO Kakishibuzome Series / Goat Saikoho(Kakishibuzome)Makeup BrushGood precision brushI don't think it's precise to classify it as an eye liner brush since the shape of the brush is more like a pin point. Perhaps it's better to call it as a small smudge brush. It can help apply color pigmented and on precise spot, and it's also very good to control. I'm really surprised when I used it for the first time. I will recommend it if you don't have such type of brush.

REN-1 Powder Brush / Chikuhodo REN Series / Red Fox, Gray SquirrelMakeup BrushNice brush but not must haveWhen I saw this series is red fox and squirrel hair mixed, I thought it should be very soft. But when I started to use it, it's more resilient than I thought. The bristle still feels comfortable and not prickly, but not as soft as I expected. It's quite good to use it to apply finishing powder because the bouncing bristle and the density, but maybe not good for blush which might be too pigmented. This brush is nice but not must have. For a brush collector, buying 1 or 2 should be enough. For a freshman of makeup or brush user, I would not recommand it.
