Kingdom [w/ 2 DVD, Limited Edition / Jacket A]Kumi KodaWorth every cent and then some. This album is her best yet. It showcases a variety of styles, all of which Kuu pulls off with aplomb. Almost all the new songs such as Himitsu, Wonderland, Amai Wana, and Koi no Mahou were excellent. In fact, they are single worthy. The music videos for these songs again followed a story format much like Second Session. They exceeded my expectation overall...I did not think they would have that much quality to them at first. The premium live DVD is THE highlight of this album. I'm so happy I brought it to include the live...it's her best live yet. The live band and orchestra was simply breathtaking. Tears were brought to my eye when Kuu started singing You and Hands with the piano and orchestra. Cherry Girl and But performances sent chills down my spine...she was on note almost 100%. Sounded exactly like the song itself. Kuu fans should definitely buy this 1CD+2DVD set...it's loaded with other extras like a picture book of her live, pictures of each cover of her Kingdom album. and the big poster.

secret [CD+DVD]Kumi KodaAwesomeKuu's first break-out studio album. This album is a definite must for any Koda Kumi fan. It's nicely balanced with hip-hip, R&B, dance, and of course jpop numbers. Among my favorites are Kiseki, Hands, Chase, Hot Stuff, Cutie Honey, Shake It, and Trust You.

BEST -first things- [CD+DVD]Kumi KodaGreatest compilation of Kuu songsThis is an amazing compilation of all the singles released up until Promise-Star from Koda Kumi. It's all arranged in the order of release. I would have payed any price for this album. Literally every track I listened to blew me away. You can really notice and see how Kuu's music has evolved over a span of 5 years. This Best album chronicles everything so don't miss out. It's a must buy for any Kuu fan. Also, it's a big way of saving money if you don't feel like spending a lot of money getting each single separately. What's even better about this album is that it comes with a DVD with every PV of every single on this album with the exception of songs like Flower and Star.

Best - Second Session - [Jacket B / CD+DVD]Kumi KodaWOWTo think she'd release 12 singles in 12 consecutive weeks, have 5 of those singles take the #1 or 2 spot, and have every one of them make Oricon top 10. What an amazing feat that Kuu managed to pull off. I had my doubts but listening to this album changed all that. By listening to songs like You, D.D.D, Shake It Up, Wind, Feel, etc I could tell she put a lot of hard work into making this huge endeavor fly. Every song had a good quality about it that can only be fully understood after listening to them. The variety in the type of songs is one of the strengths of this album. It's well balanced with all of the styles Kuu does best. I highly recommend getting this with the DVD as it comes with the PV footage for each single.

Black Cherry [Jacket B / CD+DVD]Kumi KodaBest studio album yetKuu's biggest album yet (not counting her bests). This sold over a million copies in Japan and there's a reason why. The CD itself contains an excellent assortment of ballads, jpop, rock, and hip-hop songs. I love how this album starts off with two great hip-hop numbers. It transitions so smoothly from the intro track into Get Up & Move. It gets even more intense going into Ningyouhime. Then it slows down with some nice ballads and picks up again with songs like Cherry Girl, Koi no Tsubomi. I think Koda Kumi did a nice job with arranging the tracks on this CD. She didn't jumble all the slow and fast tracks together. The composition and variety in this album is what makes it a must for any Kuu fan. Try and pick up the DVD as well. It comes with every singles PV for this album except Futari de. All of them were done very professionally and I was very surprised. PVs such as Juicy have the potential to blow away some of the hip hop MVs we see here in America.

Live Tour 2005 -first things-deluxe edition- [Regular Edition]Kumi KodaKuu does it again! For some reason I didn't like this live as much as Secret or her Live 2006-2007 Tour. As other people may have pointed out, Kuu really jacked up the sexy meter. Nonetheless I still enjoyed it overall. Afterall, the whole live wasn't just Kuu acting all sexylicious as there were more mature sides of her. Her ability to perform and sing is the highlight of this DVD. It was different because she had a chorus this time and the sound was more enhanced.

Koda Kumi Live Tour 2006-2007 -second session-Kumi KodaSimply amazing. This live is Kuu at her best. She's in her prime right now and this live just affirms that fact. The energy she puts forth into her singing is amazing and she sounds so good. I was really blown away by the nicely done intro to this concert. Ima suguu hoshi was pretty fun to watch with her "special guest". I think my favorite performances from her were probably Shake It Up, Birthday Eve (a song I actually never liked until I watched this), Ningyohime, Taisetsu no Kimi he, Koi no Tsubomi, Yume no Uta, You, and Wind. I love how she put a lot of surprises into this concert as well. Definitely one of her best performances yet with the exception of maybe Secret. I look foward to her 2007 Black Cherry Tour DVD and I really hope it'll be from the Tokyo Dome.

secret -FIRST CLASS LIMITED LIVE-Kumi KodaOne word: WOW!Wow. That is all I have to say about this DVD that I think everyone should go out and purchase if they are a true Koda Kumi fan. For a first live, it was simply amazing. Shake It, Let's Party, Pearl Moon, and Love Holic had to have been the highlights of this fantastic live.
