FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST COMPLETE BEST [Regular Edition]Animation Soundtrack"Complete Best" is a very fitting titleThis is by far the best compilation of opening and ending themes for a show I have in my cd collection. Every song brings a different style and sound into the mix culminating to the same feeling of exhilaration you would get from a rollar coaster ride. From the rockin beats of "Melissa" and "READY STEADY GO" to the mellow and calming stylings of "Motherland" and "I Will", this cd is sure to please the listener just from it's variety alone. I can't recommend this cd enough. This is a one of those cd's that should be in any music lover's collection.

TV Anime "Himawari": Taiyo no Kakera / Guruguru - himawari ver. -Ryoko Shiraishi / eufoniusWonderfully charming songsThe songs present on this single are have a really nice balance. They are catchy without being repetitive and easy to listen to again and again. The main reason for my score of this cd is because I originally purchased this cd for the ending theme "Guruguru ~Himawari version~" and while the opening theme "Taiyou no kakera" is good, I still find that I enjoy listening to the former song because of it's more diverse sound and composition. I love cute yet elegant style of eufonius voice. Her vocals give "Guruguru ~Himawari version~" an even more endearing sound. Very recommended!

samurai champloo music record "impression"Animation SoundtrackHip hip beat sample collectionFor a cd that consist of 98% percent background music tracks that sound like hip hop samples, it stands up really well on it's own. Each track sounds and feels different from the others and there is rarely two songs that are obviously similiar. By far though, the best track on the cd (the pivotal song that I purchased the OST for) is the alternate ending theme "Who's theme". The mellow stylings of the music arrangement combined with Minmi's soothing vocals result in a beautifully easy listening song. It's a song that, after you hear it, plants it's melody in you mind causing you to hum the tune when you least expect it. This cd is definitely worthy of a chance.

Gin no Senritsu Kioku no MizuotoYukari TamuraA wonderful new albulmI will admit that I was surprisingly happy to find out how musicly diverse this cd is. There are slow balads, catchy theme songs, rock balads, and acapella like hymns presented trhoughout the cd's tracklist. Yukari Tamura lends her singing style to many different styles of music and the outcome of these combinations are, for the most part, really great. I only found one song that felt very average both in style and arrangement, like I had heard the song so many times in the past, only with a different artist performing to it. But that is minor when compared to the album as a whole. This cd is a definite recommendation for anyone looking for something diverse and out of the box and Yukari Tamura fans alike. Definitely pick this one up.

TV Anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Outro Theme - Harehare YukaiAya Hirano, Minori Chihara, Yuuko GotoJust one notch below the first singleAnother catchy tune that stays stuck in your head is present here in the form of the ending theme to the show. The only problem is that this song, "Harehare Yukai", is a little too catchy for it's own good. When compared to the arrangement and composition of the first single, "Boken Deshodesho?", this ending theme has a bit of a repetitive feel about it. But that aside, it's still a great song. Really happy and up-beat. Very recommended.

Android Ana MAICO 2010 Ongakuhen Album 1 "MAICO jirushi no senkyokuya san"Animation SoundtrackObscure, but not forgottenI have no idea how popular this ost (or the show, for that matter) was in the past and I am eqaully not sure if this cd is even known about or recognized today. Here and now, I will give this cd recognition it deserves. For one thing it features two great songs, opening and ending themes, from Tange Sakura who was also the seiyuu of the main character Maico. And I might add, these are the FULL versions of the opening and ending themes, not the tv edits. The background tracks on this cd are actually very good in arrangement and are very easy to listen to. I also like track 16, which is an insert song performed by one of the suporting cast members. The song has a very warm and loving feeling to it. Yes, this is an old ost to an old anime but I feel this it deserves much praise for the great music it presents. As a collector, I've been looking for this ost for a while and I'm glad I finally have it. As a music lover, this is a ost I can listen to many times again. Pick this up before it's too late. Very recommended.

This time around, we are presented with two new slow love balads. Nino's soft and soothing voice really makes these songs come to life. This beautiful songs on this cd are wonderfull for just kicking back and relaxing as you let ROUND TABLE's music arrangement and Nino's vocals sweep you away. Karin Outro Theme - Mouhitotsu no BirthdayAnimationHappy musicAs the title of my review reads, this cd has two really warm and happy songs on it. "Mouhitotsu no Birthday", the ending theme to the anime Karin, is a really catchy and lovingly sweet song that gives you a warm feeling inside from listening to it. The other song on the cd, while not featured in the anime at all, is very upbeat and jolly, but, at the same time, quite repetitive. Overall, this is great purchase for fans of the show or anyone, in general, who likes feel-good music.

Aria The ANIMATION Outro Theme Song: RainbowROUND TABLE feat.NinoForever Loyal to Round TableQuite frankly, this single rocks. Period. Mind you, I know nothing of the show these songs are connected to. But, when I came across this cd, and saw that the music was produce by Round Table along with Neno at vocals, it was instantly purchased. Round Table's music, accompanied by Nino's wonderfull vocals, have the power to brighten any day and lift anyones spirit. If you have never heard any of Round Table's music aside from the Chobits theme "Let Me Be With You", you are definitely in for a treat with this cd. Very highly recommended!

Shinobu Sanjo ("Ninin ga Shinobu-den" Intro Theme)AnimationReally funny lyricsThese are some of the funniest lyrics I have ever heard. Not only are the lyrics entertaining but, the background music is also very catchy and enjoyable. These songs really capture the sense of fun and wackiness of the series perfectly. I really recommended this cd just for the fun atmosphere that these songs create when listening to them.

Pita ten : Character Maxi Single Vol.1 MishaYukari TamuraTrue character representationI think these songs truely represent Misha in every way. From the slow balad that is "Shiawaseni naruto iina!" to the upbeat and happy "Ureshii sorano tobikata", these songs act as musically representative portraits of Misha's character. Very nice songs.

TV Anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Intro Theme - Boken Deshodesho?Aya HiranoGreat SingleI simply love the how well the opening theme is composed, as well as, Aya Hirano vocals. This is one opening theme I could easily listen to over and over again. It's just a great energetic song that lifts the listener's mood. Highly recommended!

Pure Blue/LOVE FOREVERMayumi Iizuka, Atsuko Enomoto, Maria YamamotoA heavenly lullabyThis is a very lovely single that features the opening and ending themes to the show. "Love Forever" is a beautiful song that still has the feel of a j-pop track. As strange as that sounds, they work quite well together. Really easy listening.

CHANCE Triangle Session: Tenshi in your heartMayumi IizukaA more mature soundMayumi Iizuka's singing really does sound very mature and established. Especially when accompanied by equally mature lyrics of that tell of love and lost. I think these songs were perfect for her vocals and style of singing. The only problem is that the song "Tenshi in Heart" get's a little bit tiresome to listen to for a while after two or three times due to certain instruments in the background. That small gripe aside, this is still a great addition into CHANCE Triangle Session cd collection. A really recommended single.
-
CHANCE Triangle Session: WOO YEAH WOO AHAtsuko EnomotoEnomoto is wonderful! This is easily my favorite single in the CHANCE Triangle Session maxi single collecion. The song "Difference" brings a very mellow and calming love balad with Atsuko Enomoto's heartfelt wistful vocals while the song "Woo Yeah Woo Ah" presents a hip mid-tempo rhythm and a more energetic sound from Enomoto-san's singing. The two songs balance each other out nicely. This cd is highly recommended.

CHANCE Triangle Session: Objection 16Maria YamamotoThe middle childThis the only CHANCE Triangle Session cd that I have mixed feelings about. On one hand, the songs here are ok, but on the other hand, Maria Yamamoto has performed better songs. The songs have a very childish and playfull feel to them, which could either be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your taste. That is not to say that I dislike this cd, I don't, but my main reason for purchasing this cd was because generally love all of the music from this cd and I am a bit of a completionist. But if you are a fan of the show (like myself) and it's music (ditto), you should pick this up.

CHANCE Triangle Session Vocal AlbumAnimationJ-pop BlissOff all of my OST's, this is one of my personal favorites. This cd is basically a collection of all the vocal tracks from the show but, all of the songs compliment each other so nicely. This is definitely the cd to get if you have never purchased a cd from this seires. This is the perfect place to start. I love it.

Tenshi ni Narumon! Original Soundtrack Pururun! [Limited Release] (limited to 5,000 copies)Animation SoundtrackNear and dear to my heart.I love the composition of the pieces of music on this OST. I have always loved the variety of music presented in this series and this cd is a great collection of those songs. Some pieces are catchy, some are quirky, some are sentimental, but all of them are enjoyable to listen to. To add even more value to an already great OST, the cd also include the full length versions of the opening and themes, which are infectiously likeable, as well.

Bokusastu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Soundtrack dayo Dokoro-chanAnimationSaeko Chiba singing = addictively cuteWhat can I say, I brought this OST for the opening and ending themes that continue to ring in my ears, even now. In a nutshell, this soundtack is an acquired taste. There are a few nice background tracks but, it's maily the many versions of the opening theme presented on this cd that will warrant you to purchase it. I'm really releived that I have the song to listen to whenever I want intead of embarrassingly and accidentally blurting out "Pipiru Piru Piru Pipiru Pi" in public.
