Good and useful, as the title says. Soft, multi-functional, and very pretty to look at too. When you apply with this or the flat, or both, the eye makeup comes out looking very beautiful (correct amount of product is applied, the way it fits into curves of eye and moves around blends and diffuses without over-diffusing, etc ) very quickly and easily (feels like no effort was put in, but makeup looks good). My only worry with this line is that they might lose hairs or get worn out quickly - they are so perfect, there must be a catch! Hopefully not, I just can't believe brushes like this exist, they work like magic. All these Japanese brushes have soooo much thought and attention put into them, they are way better than anything else.

this works well for eyeliner, lipstick, storing brushes that arent too big (eye brushes). it is made of good material and is sturdy. It protects the brushes without altering their shape because the case is not so soft that, if it got crushed, it would damage the bristles. I think it is a bit too expensive considering how tiny it is (you cannot store much in it) but it is a good job anyway, and needs to come in larger sizes now - it has a lot of potential

Unlike the review below, I did not find this to be anything special. In fact, I found it subpar to cheaper brushes like Ecotools and Artist of Makeup (zukreat line). It leaves harsh edges no matter how you try to work it (I have been doing makeup for a long time so I know it is not user error) because of the flatness. It needs to be thicker, and more rounded on the sides, so as not to leave that very embarrassing line of demarcation, which does not even blend away with other brushes properly. I really don't use this at all anymore, which sucks. Highlighter does need that edge depending on the type of face, so it also depends on your face. I already have quite stark cheekbones and round cheeks so that harshness looks very silly on me, I need something fluffier and rounded. This would work well on thinner cheeks/faces, or people who do want to bring out that angle more, I suppose. I don't like the hair used on this either.

I found this most helpful for applying base shadow on eyelids evenly, as well as setting powder in specific spots! I also use it with less pigmented blush and then blend out the edges with any powder brush. It works well for the intended purpose too. Very ergonomic, compared to any other brush so far. No hairs came out yet, seems sturdy too.

This literally works. I'm very pleased. We want our brushes to last. I have owned a Princeton (painting) brush, from the art supply shop, for years. It was scratchy but the best shape possible for blush and bronzer even light powder all over so I put up with it. This treatment transformed it! The bottle is very small. However the product is rich and dense. I don't know whether it's that good a value for money due to the small size but it is effective and useful.

Distributes pigment just right and so soft. Smaller than expected which is good as I was worried about it being too large for any precision. Applied low quality low pigment blush I own that I rarely touched to perfection! Very good brush. I hope it lasts for years. I worry these brushes aren't made to last long and only to look pretty but hopefully I'm wrong about that.

It is the right softness/stiffness combo for the job (both for pickup and application)- were it softer, the colour would not deposit properly and the end result would be muddy and imprecise, which is NOT why one would purchase a smaller blending brush like this. It feels like a small pixie's hand rubbing and smoothing product gently across your eyelid lol

Best eyebrow brush for someone like me, with a gap in my eyebrow from a scar with bare skin. I have never come across something that delivers such precision and natural looking result, deposits exactly where needed and doesn't overlap onto the surrounding skin (with hair) so brows never look ugly and jagged like they do with every other brow application (pencil, gel, powder, and whichever brush). I bought a back-up which will arrive today. I would recommend this to everyone. The design LOOKS a bit garish on the site but in real life it looks beautiful.

I have a cake eyeliner which I love (Joe Blasco - better than anything else out there)- this delivers the best result with it. It can be a tightline effect, or more substantial, easy control and beautiful result. No muddying and diluting the pigment, it is perfect. It also never hurts your eyes.

Sorry to see about the previous reviewer getting a bad one, but luckily mine is really soft and excellent! I thought it was the G-S2 at first, and they'd just forgotten to send the right one - they are similar in size - however I love this one MORE! I love the G-S2 and got backups but I wish I'd tried this first, as I'd have spent the backup money on this instead. Mine is almost the same size as the G-S2, I don't know if that is true for every brush as the pictures made it seem way bigger - however it's flat and the slightly bigger size helps as my eyes are not small... soooo smooth and even and I find it more precise for application for all over lid (like a smokey colour)! WHY do they make such good products, I never want to use anything else. I love this one SOOOOOOOO Much!!!!!

Useful, brush hair should be a few MM shorter in length ideally. Use to buff out blush (harsh edges), mistakes anywhere, apply eyeshadow base all over colour, buff out concealer, even liquid foundation. The bristles would do a better job just being a tad shorter. Extremely cute brush.

I only don't rate 5 stars because I noticed after even very gentle washing (with a mild conditioner too) some of the hairs splay a bit. It has no effect on result, nor comfort (not scratchy or noticeable) so far anyway. I never use it roughly either. Anyway SO useful - can use for concealer esp correctors. Likewise, can use for shadow application (softer goat hair side for powder shadow) or cream base ..and blend a little with either side. Can use for lips. Can use for CAKE EYELINER or blending eyeliner or lower lashline softening of dots of kohl or powder

This one is brilliant. Best for all over base colours or lid colours, can use the rounded edge for soft crease or lower lashline (soft colours like MAC Quarry for a gentle effect but giving a bigger eye effect due to the soft gradient this will give), and even for blending if you want! Soft and comfortable on skin, but not TOO soft either! I wish they had a version of this without the fancy handle/ferrule, so it could cost less. Then I could get a backup

So this is not a must-have by any means. It is just luxury to have. Feels sturdy and soft. Good density not weak nor so dense that it cannot move and blend. Much thicker than expected which is good. Does not actually pick up quite as much powder as my squirrel hair brush which is a good thing for softening eyesshadow powder... smooths out overall effect. I'm not sure I needed it but I'm glad to have it. It is good for smoothing areas of makeup on the face not just the eyes. Also setting powder. If you like powder like BareMinerals Matte or physician's formula (coverage but loose) then this works for concentrating and blending that. Can tell this will last AGES God willing!

To be honest it is amazing for base colour ... lid colour ....crease and even undereye lashline shadow!! (JUST SQUISH THE BRISTLES TO FLATTEN IT MORE FOR LOWER LASHLINE). So for pigmented powder makeup that a person wants to get a soft effect with (without reducing pigment/opacity ) this brush can give you layered translucent application where wanted to give a diffused effect. Surprised also by how resilient and well made it is!! This a+ a weasel hair shadow liner brush that doubles as eyebrow brush is all a person needs for most styles of eye makeup..oh and a concentrated one like the Make Up ForEver 218 brush (or similar). 3 brushes.

Best material possible for this type of brush. Does not hurt. Perfect shape and hair length because it works wet or dry The hair Feels sturdy but soft .picks up perfect amount of product . I cannot imagine a better shadow liner brush than this.

Beautiful. It has the ideal amount of hair and shape.. you may not think so when you receive it but in practice this is probably a better shape for lid shades than MAC 217. When washed I noticed it actually has a subtle convex and concave side which another reviewer said about Purin Pr004 and Pr005 brushes. Which makes it apply well. However I'm worried about how soft the hair is surely it's too soft and the brush will 'die' soon?? I hope its only soft not fragile. Only time will tell. It's soft as a the fur on a cat's cheek ... Houkoudou G-S2 I feel less worried about using even though its squirrel.

This is the best eyeliner brush I have used. It is precise but not so thin that you have to go over multiple times to build the line up to a flattering thickness. It is soft enough, it has the ideal shape, and can be used for lower lashline. It works with cake eyeliner or making powder shadows into liner wet or dry. It cleans easily. The small shape makes it easier for me since the brush does not hit the mirror as I peer into it while I line. Please tell them to make this again. I cannot find a single brush on this website like it.

Soft, perfect shape, perfect blending, applies pigmented stuff to be soft but evenly spread, etc. I am only worried about the bristles being TOO soft over time to be damaged easily, as I noticed already one hair is bent. I will wash and continue to use over time, if something happens to change my mind I will review again to mention the problem. But perfect so far.
