As a long time Sonata Arctica fan, this is easily on their lower end of their catalogue. Rated against nearly everything that proceeded this, it was hard going getting through all the songs here. There is definitely something a little off with the production, some of the sounds, particularly the drums have a harsh sound. The actual songs with okay, solid but not remotely comparable to what has come before this. I bought this out of curiosity only and a collection filler, i don't plan on listening to this anytime soon.

This is a re-issue of Nightwish's fourth studio album, originally issued in 2002. The first album to feature bassist/vocalist Marco Hietala, who not only beefed up the sound with his heavier style of bass playing, transformed the band with his stela lead vocals. This release is a SHM-CD with original mastering, containing two bonus studio songs 'Lagoon' and 'The Wayfarer') plus a radio edit of 'Bless The Child' and two live tracks. If you already own this, the sound shows a slight improvement to the trained ear, but the arrival of Marco Hietala brought new dimension to the bands sound. he dominant male vocals fits in effortlessly with Tarja's operatic soprano tones. A worthy addition your Nightwish collection, whether you own this already or looking for a highly collectable SHM disc.

This is the second album from Helloween to feature the reunited line-up with Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske. Expectations were pretty high, as the previous self titled album was one of their best in many years. This standard version features 10 songs, ranging from the very melodic 'This Is Tokyo', to the fast and furious pace of the opener 'Giants On The Run'. Vocals are shared with Andi Deris and the for mentioned Hansen and Kiske, with each singer having their own distinct sound and unique qualities. But the real magic is when all their voices come together in the one song and take things to a higher level. The album has a very distinctive 1980's feel from the production, the drums sounding perhaps a little too high in the mix, with some of the guitars not as sharp as the previous album. If your already a fan of this legendary band, then you won't be disappointed, if new to the band this is a perfectly good place to start.

For those in Brazil who want this material, know that CD Japan is very reliable. It was my first purchase and everything arrived in perfect condition without any damage. I have many versions of this album on vinyl and CD and this is the finest one yet. Sound and packaging. Roy Halee‘s production shines!

Excellent packing by team CDJapan. Not much of a fan of Bon Jovi’s material post Shankshole, got this for the sake of collection and for the song “Fight Somebody” .Good package.

The release features remastered sound that improved the lack of bass in the original release. The booklet consist of full 12-page international variant plus 8 pages with the liner notes and lyrics in Japanese.The purchase fully met my expectations.

I already had this album on CD, but was super excited when I saw it was getting a release on vinyl, and I wasn't left disappointed!! The sound quality is absolutely incredible!! I love absolutely every track from start to finish. Also, the LP itself is a lovely white with the BoA album logo on either side in black with yellow text on Side A and reversed on Side B. The booklet and posters aren't all the same images from the CD release either. She's got some different photos for both the booklet and posters. I actually like these ones far more than the ones released on the other format. They're also printed using exceptional thick quality paper. Extremely highly recommended!!

Oh my god the packaging of the albums were awesome thank you. The album has no flaws sounds great and the artwork of the album is totally bad ass and color vinly clear red is really special. The side slip on the album nice touch and rare to have almost threw it in the trash. Too bad it’s not on the other albums that I have New Beginning Brand New Maid Just Bring It World Domination and Conquer all of them were bought on Amazon US. "Lotus" is an excellent testament to the skills and playfulness of the 1973 Santana group. A shining example of jazz rock/fusion with a human face/touch and an organic and emotionally captivating sound. Don't miss out on this one if you enjoy the Santana studio albums from that time.
