Gamera 3 Original SoundtrackSoundtrackGamera 3
A brilliant soundtrack and a fitting conclusion to the series. More ominous, dark and suspensful than previous soundtracks in the Gamera series adding depth and emotion to the flying turtle and his foes. Really atmospheric but not afraid to go big, broad and epic for the climax. Highly recomended for fans of Gamera and Kow Otani.

TBS Kei Kinyo Drama "MAOU" Original SoundtrackTV Original SoundtrackMaou OST
An amazing soundtrack for an amazing drama. 'Maou' was my fave drama of 2009 and its soundtrack was my fave as well. Each track fits the drama's theme and they underline each and every scene perfectly. There couldn't be a better soundtrack for 'Maou'.

Wicked Gekidan Shiki VersionOriginal SoundtrackWonderful Japanese version of Wicked
This is a wonderful show to listen to in any language. Some of the performances here might not have the same grand full-bodied gusto as in the Broadway original, but it's still a total delight. The woman playing Elpheba here cannot quite pull off those huge numbers with the same intensity as say, Idina Menzel, but that might be just because I'm so used to hearing Idina singing these songs. In other songs, such as "As Long As You're Mine", or "One Short Day" she is perfectly lovely. I love listening to the Japanese language and hearing a show that I'm so familiar with in English interpreted this way is not only hugely enjoyable but fascinating.

Nihon TV Kei Kayo Drama Yukan Club Original SoundtrackTV Original Soundtrack (Music by Kosuke Yamashita)Yukan Club OST
Those who enjoyed the series will certainly enjoy the soundtrack as well. It contains all insert and background tracks featured throughout the episodes in full length. The only song missing is the original version theme song of KAT-TUN, 'Keep the Faith', but it's still featured in an alternate instrumental version which is very interesting to listen to.

The four different versions of "Double-Action" included on this CD (plus a new dialog version of Sword Form) is an excellent buy. The Double-Action series is a great marketing strategy for a fun tune.

Movie "Death Note" Original Soundtrack -SOUND of DEATH NOTEOriginal Soundtrack (Music by Kenji Kawai)Death Note - Movie Soundtrack
Great soundtrack for an awesome movie. If you haven't seen it, it's great. This might not be your cup of tea if you haven't seen the movie since it's all background music from the film, and can be a little sporadic in its play. But if you have, go for it!

Kamen Rider Den-O Perfect-Action -Double-Action Complete Collection-Sci-Fi Live ActionNot so much
...and by complete, they mean the first five versions (normal, Sword, Axe, Rod, and Gun forms), there's nothing beyond that in this collection sadly, but it is still a good collection of the song before they went over the top with it (Piano and Coffee anyone?)

Sukeban-Deka Last MemorialTV Original SoundtrackVery good song collection, but ...
Opposed to a previous review, all three Sukeban dekas girls are contained here (Shiroi no honno from Yuki Saito is also inside). But the ending theme "Naze? no arashii" from Sukeban Deka II ep. 1-15 is missing.

A very nice soundtrack. I'd recomend this to anyone who collects the music and themes from the various Ultraman shows. It's also nice that the opening title sounds are included.

Back Dancers! Original SoundtrackOriginal SoundtrackNew & Classic
The soundtrack for 'Back Dancers!' contains a nice mix of j-pop songs from various artists (like Koda Kumi and m-flo) and covers both, new and classic songs. All tracks are, like the movie title already suggests, danceable and simply enjoyable to listen to. This soundtrack is certainly a good addition to any collection.

ISAO SASAKI SONG BOOK - NEO STANDARD 40th AnniversaryIsao SasakiIsao Sasaki Song Book
Disc 1 could stand alone as a jazz cd-includes a cover of Elvis Presley's "I need your love tonight" but dares to offer different arrangements of well known anime themes like the ones from Battleship Yamato, and Secret Task Force Goranger. Disc 2 offers highlights from Sasaki's 40 years in entertainment:from the 60's-"Journey",70's- "Blue Earth"/Galaxy Railways,"Requiem"/G-Men '75,multiple versions of the Ultra Seven themesong, 80's "Non-stop Dreamer",to the 90's and beyond with behind the scenes outtakes and interviews...sounds like he was having fun making the album..booklet detailing each song included.
