The electric bass and the the electric guitar, ranging from distorted rock riffs to funky comps with the wah pedal, bestow the album its modern jazz fusion feels. Some tracks beautifully incorporate other instruments such as the recorder and trumpet. They are commanded by funky, and occasionally unpredictable, syncopations from the drums. However, the CD case isn't as stellar as the music it contains, as it's only made up of dual cardboard while the CD is protected by a thin circular film.

My purchase of this detailed visual book of Evangelion mecha design art, is venerable. This book of compiled artwork from Ikuto Yamashita is a beautiful Commemorative Book, filled with inspired designs from the long-running Evangelion series. If you were lucky enough to attend the Rebirth Orchestra tour in 2024 - 2025, you'll find that this album contains the same setlist you heard live. It's a great way to relive those memories, as well as being a high-quality performance overall. The arrangements are all very good, with great use of choral parts in addition to instrumentation, with the choral parts in Aerith and Rufus's themes being especially good. The selection of tracks covers classics like Gold Saucer and Cosmo Canyon, as well as fun new pieces like Queen's Blood and Stamp. A wide variety of styles is also reflected here, from the intense, frenetic pace of Jenova to Rufus's military march, to the laid-back vibes of Costa del Sol. Overall, the setlist is a good representation of the game as whole, the arrangements are nice (I even think the arrangement of Cosmo Canyon is better than the one heard in the game itself), and the performance is skillful and a pleasure to listen to. For attendees of the Rebirth Concert, as well as fans of the game in general, listening to this CD set will be a pleasure and a good way to relive memories.

Plays alright on Switch, I seem to find the performance drops a bit during both games but as a visual novel I don't find it too much of an issue. Although it's Japan region it supports English language and audio, and I'm very happy to have this as part of my Ace Attorney collection
