All tracks sound like they have updated remastering and are full and clear. 'No Woman No Cry' is a live 1977 version.

I like this CD Album, and it's in good condition. Also great to have a 1000 yen coupon, so in general this is a good shopping experience.

This is my first time watching this movie from Japan Blu-ray, and it is an "wow" from me! It definitely must buy from me because this True HD transfer you won't find from any other companies such like EurekaVideo or you names its. Beside the subtitle burn-in on the sides, the overal such as colors were excellent and indeed filmic! True HD telecine definitely better than any Remastered transfer. You buy it, and you won't regret it.

Nicky Larson is the name of Ryo Saeba in France. This movie is the live movie of a "French City Hunter"!!... It's fun ! I was so lucky to find it in Japanese, I wanted to offer it to a Japanese Friend, and I came across it by chance on CD Japan! Thanks ! He liked the movie, he wanted to see it in Japanese since a long time. Very satisfied of my order,of the delivery with gift bag and little card.

I love this play soooo much, I’ve been wanting to watch it complete some time ago, but I couldn’t find it anywhere, only some clips. And it does have subtitles!!! I thought it was gonna be literally just the movie and that’s it, but it has as bonus a trailer of Love Never Dies and some behind the scenes and rehearsal clips which is so nice :) Sierra, Ramin and Hadley are wonderful actors and singers, they made a spectacular job here, mind blowing, really. The rest of the cast were amazing as well. For me, this is the best cast. Definitely my favourite staging of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera so far. Thank you very much, CD Japan <3

This film is delightfully charming, deeply human, and ultimately sad. Sad, because the ethereally beautiful, endlessly kind and cheerful Annabel (Mia Wasikowska) is dying, and finally she die in the end of the story. But until then, she lives, much more intensively, like others, whose are not must hurry for the soon-to-expire time. Annabel meet Enoch (Henry Hopper), who is a handsome but a bit strange guy, at a funeral. Enoch goes from funeral to funeral as a hobby, while he playing 'Torpedo' at home with his "ghost", Hiroshi (Ryo Kase) - a young Japanese Kamikaze pilot - who lives only in the young guy's mind. Enoch lost his parents, Annabel goes to die inevitably early, thus this two young people destined for each other by fate. Despite, initially Enoch rejects Annabel's friendship, but not much later he takes the girl to his parents grave in the cemetery, where the girl drawings birds. Annabel introduces herself to Enoch's parents and chat with them. The restraint young man can't resist this vivid girl, who just wait the die with stoical acceptance, and thinking about dead, as people who just be elsewhere. She ain't sad, but kind and warm-hearted, later she can talk with Hiroshi just like Enoch. The ghost jealous a bit to the girl, who sneaks into Enoch's heart and mind, but Annabel’s kindness is irresistible, thus Hiroshi will be her friend. We can watch this trio throughout many fun, from Halloween through ice skating to karate lesson, meanwhile Annabel need some treatment in the hospital, which reminds them to the inevitable. Annabel leaves out, in silence - no melodramatic scenes in the end - we just see Enoch at the funeral of his late love, when stands behind the microphone, prepare for his speech, and smiling while he remebering to their happy times with Annabel. In my opinion, this is a bittersweet symphony of passing away. I was dropped some tears when I watched, and I think, this is a proof of the high quality of the production. Well-written by Jason Lew, wonderfully filmed by Harris Savides, flawlessly directed by Gus Van Sant, and outstandingly acted by the three lead actors: the angelic Mia Wasikowska, the charming Dennis Hopper, the philosophic-sober Ryo Kase. Recommended to everyone, who loves intelligent stories, superb cinematography, and brilliant acting.

Music is outstanding for this film, totally best film of the year! The music is so inspiring! Love it very much!

The moment I touches the box, I felt the sincerity of the seller! Though it’s just a discounted Blu-ray Disc, it is beautifully wrapped up with bubble wrap then followed by an apple green soft paper and nicely placed in a solid box like something precious! From receiving the item to opened up the disc, every moment it gives you that satisfaction, excitement and warmth. I just couldn’t describe it! It is way above expectations! I just love buying from Japanese! They are the best!

Excellent Original Soundtrack music to one of the more inspiring movies after the global pandemic; a story of friendship and wisdom, with "real action" literally from the pilot's seat of jets. This music made the film that much more enjoyable, pulling your feelings into the exhilarating visuals of many scenes. Plus this CD has a bonus track song. Perfect!

Surprised that see this DVD in CD Japan, I am quickly purchased it! This movie is definitely explain more about Whitney and I feel that I understand her more! Love it!

A beautifully packaged presentation of this fan favorite film. The only downside is the movie badly needs a remaster, but overall a worthwhile purchase. Not Region A locked, plays fine on my Region B player.

The immortal Boris Karloff stars as “Frankenstein”, a.k.a. “Frankenstein’s Monster”, the role that made him a legend! Dr. Henry Frankenstein sought power and fame. He wished to create a “new man” by assembling body parts from freshly-dead corpses then restoring them anew by exposing his assembled creature to a special ultra-violet ray created in his laboratory. By mistake, the brain of a violent criminal is put into Dr. Frankenstein’s creation. When this “new man” is given life, he is badly treated, (you’ll see why). As such, the violent madman’s brain takes control, and “Frankenstein’s Monster” runs amok, creating mayhem and murder wherever he goes, though truly through no fault of The Monster’s own. That, my friends, is precisely the point of this great “morality play”. The real treat is Karloff’s wordless performance as the hapless, much-misunderstood “Monster”. It was worthy of a Best Actor Academy (Oscar) Award at the time, except that the Academy’s voters didn’t consider horror movies seriously. It’s also worth mention how groundbreaking “Frankenstein” was in its time. Subject: A mad scientist who robs graves. Taboos: On display were very real-looking human brains in glass jars, “corpses” hanging from gallows, or lying on slabs. Before “Frankenstein’s” release in 1931, such things were absolutely never shown onscreen. The ultimate shocker was, of course, The Monster’s appearance, especially in close-up. Created by Universal Studios make-up wizard, Jack Pierce, with input from Karloff himself, this is a look that will remain durable in your nightmares. When The Monster first turns his face to the camera that first time, the camera cuts to a closeup. At that point, generations of moviegoers have received a never-forgotten chill up the spine! I dare you to use your Pause Control at that instant just to stare - and marvel at - The Monster’s face. Karloff’s face and character are a brilliant study in tragedy and misunderstanding played to the zenith of both. It’s not The Monster’s fault that he has a murderer’s brain! He even tries to be kind in playing with a child, but becomes scared and confused when he finds out that she can’t do what her flowers did....

Classic Scifi family entertainment at its best! Bought this as a gift for my daughter last Christmas.
