2015年1月放送開始のTVアニメ『アブソリュート・デュオ』より、鈴木このみ8thシングルとなるオープニングテーマがリリース! 表題曲「Absolute Soul」は、作詞を『銀閃の風』に引き続き坂井竜二が担当。作曲は鈴木このみの代表曲ともなった「This game」の若林充。力強いキック、疾走感のあるノイジーなギターが唸る、デュエット構成のエレクトロロック! 『アブソリュート・デュオ』にちなみ、鈴木このみも表題曲「Absolute Soul」をゲストボーカルとのデュオに挑戦! 鈴木このみが尊敬してやまないアニソン界の大先輩・奥井雅美をゲストボーカルに迎え、夢のコラボが実現! アレンジも表題曲とは異なるバージョンで、[初回限定盤 -blade-]と[通常盤 -shield-]とそれぞれ歌唱パートを入れ替えた別バージョンを収録。 初回限定盤のDVDには、「Absolute Soul」(Music Clip)を収録。オリジナルフォトジャケット仕様。
